This book broadened my knowledge of the Everglades and its history. I was not aware of the money that was made and the destruction of birds done for hats.

What made the experience of listening to Wild the most enjoyable?

Such a well written book that I did not want to put it down. The book made me relate so well and made me laugh at times

What was one of the most memorable moments of Wild?

At the beginning of her hike she had no idea what she was getting into and was so funny when she described what all happened to her.

The passing of a loved parent is so hard especially at such an early age. I have also lossed a mother at an early age and could relate

I loved her personality and she was so crazy and fun loving too.

Would not recommend it for my friends

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I like the stories about the Appalacian Trail. I would have rated it much better if there was not so much about his religeous talk. I am not against religeon at all but I did not buy this book for that purpose.

This book is ok for vacation backpackers but of little use for trail hikers

Has Have Backpack Will Travel turned you off from other books in this genre?

I like tails of backpacking trails and was hoping to learn something from this book but it did nothing for me

He was ok just the information was not great

What did you love best about One Man's Wilderness?

I truly enjoy books about people living in the wilderness, the ways they adapt and problems that they have. This book was a very truthful account of this man's time spent in a harsh environment

The author truly enjoyed living in the wilderness and took in the beauty and found ways to endure the hardship nature can bring

There was only one main character in this book though a few others visited him

I always looked forward to pick up where I left off and wanted to hear more

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this book if you are interested in what happened during the Hurricane Katrina. This book is about what it was like for some of the people that went through the Hurricane and what happened to them. I

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Even though this book was not what I expected I still enjoyed hearing about what the people endured during the hurricane and some of what life was like before and after. I was expecting it to be more about the normal life of the people in the Bayous.

What about Chris Andrews’s performance did you like?

I had no idea what it was like for the people living in Louisiana that lived in through the hurricane and how it affected their lives. This book made it very interesting and enjoyable to read

I always looked forward to going on from where I left off

Would you consider the audio edition of Across America by Bicycle to be better than the print version?

This audio book was such a joy to listen to. I was so inspired to hear about the stories of their feelings and joys and sorrows during their trip. I hope to someday take a trip like this and enjoy it like they did

I liked the honest description of their journey

What does Rosemary Benson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I was listening to this book as I was running and it inspired me so much that I wanted to do this myself

I like to savor my audio books and listen to them traveling and on my runs. It was hard to turn off though after getting to my destination

I was so disappointed in this audio book. I was expecting it to be about bicycle riding and trips that have been taken on bicycles. It was instead about one man's philosophy which I did not care to hear. Very little about riding a bike

What was most disappointing about David Byrne’s story?

I wanted to hear about the joys of bicycle riding not his views on life

What didn’t you like about David Byrne’s performance?

Was ,,misled by the title

The word bicycle should be cut from the title

Don't know never read the print version of this book. Did enjoy the audible version but do not want to read the print version

I liked the planning and building section of the book and the feelings that it all brought

Yes he put much feeling into the book

What did you learn from It's All About the Bike that you would use in your daily life?

I have biked for many years and have gotten away from it and more into running. My later years the running is taking a toll on my knees and want to do more bicycling and this book has inspired me
