Castle finally gets a chance to shine!

I freaking love Castle and his ridiculous crush on the grumpy Jeremy makes for so much fun. I *love* a good spicy book, but I'm just not crazy about the spicy scenes by this author, as they aren't very well written. (At least the comedy makes up for it). I really wish the author would just stick to funny romance instead of trying to add spice; honestly these stories are strong enough without the sex scenes, which I usually just skip over.

the only thing I didn't care for was how slow the narrator reads. I had to listen at almost two times normal speed just to get it to sound normal, but people do talk slower int he south.

A great story

I love the story, it was a little disappointing however that all of the male characters in the story had the exact same accent, voice, and mannerisms. It was very difficult to tell when one character stopped talking and the next started. The voice actress was not my favorite, but nevertheless, it's a great fantasy saga.

FIRST OF ALL! It is clearly titled Crenshaw: EINMAL SCHWARZER KATER. There is a SAMPLE BUTTON so you can listen before you buy it, and the description tells you it's in GERMAN. If you leave a one star review because you ignored all of this and bought a book you can't understand, you are hurting the actor and author, not Amazon. (And you're also announcing that you were too lazy to pay attention).
Ich liebte diese Geschichte auf Englisch, und Hanno Koffler hat sie auf Deutsch noch besser gemacht! Sie erklärt Obdachlosigkeit ohne Stigmatisierung, damit Kinder es verstehen können.

Sadly not Anne Rice's best work.

Perhaps it is my tragic fault for falling so desperately in love with her vampires first, but I really had to force myself into this book. The story itself is every bit as detailed and lovingly crafted as Lestat's many tales, but there was too much of the "Beauty" series to this story for me. I like erotic fiction, but not the way Anne Rice told it. Still, Lasher is an intriguing character, so I'm willing to lean into this a little more and try the next book in the series.

Ein tolles Buch

Wenn man ein Fan ist und wenn man auch Deutsch lernt, ist das ein wunderbares Buch. Chris spricht langsam genug für eine ein erfahrener Studentin zu verstehen. Aber wenn man eine begeisterter Anfängerin ist, dann vielleicht wird es ein wenig schwer zu verstehen. Das Buch macht aber Spaß. Gut gemacht, Chris Pohl!
