Landon redeemed himself in my eyes! I put this book off for a while because I just wasn’t sure about Landon, but I finally decided to listen and I’m so glad I did! I loved and Landon and Mia, they were so cute and complementary together!

As for the voices and quality of the audiobook, it was perfect.

Cute short story!

This was such a cute book! It was a short listen, so time wise it didn’t take too long. A hockey, marriage of convenience story. The audio was great, I felt like the voices for both characters were pretty spot on, I couldn’t picture them sounding any different. But I did just listen to it, I never read on my kindle.

Bastian Bishop!!

Alex Kydd for the win yet again! Honestly, he is the main reason that I downloaded this audiobook, but for real this is my favorite one yet! I absolutely love him as Bastain Bishop! He slays this voice role!

As for this story, well I absolutely loved this book also! I mean Meagan Brandy is a queen herself, but this one is top shelf for sure! You have a rich girl and poor boy. Secret society type of vibe with a touch of the Brayshaw’s. Then Bass has a swagger all of his own, and Rocklyn, well the girl is deadly. I mean she doesn’t come to play. I highly recommend this audiobook or even just this book period. But really, get the Audiobook, because Alex and Savannah slayed this one!

Drama and more drama

Wow, I wasn’t sure what to expect with this story and I can’t say that I was disappointed or that I didn’t like it. This was my first Tijan book, and I can honestly say that it’s not what I was expecting. With that being said, I liked it, I just, I don’t know, wanted more. There was so much drama, suspense, and mystery that it was a little suffocating. I wanted more open door love between Jesse and Alex, not even spicy love. Just more of them.

As for the audio, it was good. The voice was perfect for Alex, but I would love for there to be some Jesse perspective. But I guess in order for that to happen the book would have to be edited to add Jesse chapters.

Who doesn’t love hockey and a man obsessed?! Honestly I loved this story and the audiobook was just as good as reading it myself! But with Joe Arden at the helm, there was no way this one wasn’t going to be a hit.

Favorite Audiobook of All Time!

Gosh, I just love Alex Kydd! I loved this book when I read it, and then I listed to the audio and I feel in love with it even more. And I fell in love with Garrett even more because of Alex’s voice. His voice for Garrett is absolute perfection. They couldn’t have found a more perfect match.

As for the story. It’s a brother’s best friend hockey romance. Jennie and Garrett become friends when Jennie moves into the same building as him. As they get closer, feelings start to develop. But honestly this book will have you laughing your bum off one minute and pulling on your heart strings the next. Becka is such an amazing writer!

Favorite Elsie Book!

Theo Silvia is pure perfection!

I want to start with the cliche saying of ‘I have no words’ because this book was that good. But the truth is, I have sooo many because this book was that good! I mean honestly I really wasn’t sure what to expect because I didn’t really like Winter in Flawless, and Theo was a playboy. But I do always love a good underdog moment and let me tell you, Elsie took her two biggest underdogs and completely turned them around. The transformation in these two characters was amazing. I know a lot of that came from actually getting down to the nitty gritty and getting to know the real them. But also they both learned so much from each other, more so Winter from Theo. By the end the growth in both characters was so undeniable. This book, these characters, the realness of them, they were that good! Now, add in the voice of Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood and we have the one of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to! These two are both on my favorites list, and the fact that they do this book together just makes it that much better!

Hockey with a touch of mystery!

Okay, so this book was so good! Charlie and Mica come together to help each other out. She needs out of a bind, and he needs a wife to save his career. They reluctantly agree to be married and live as roommates in private and a couple in public. Charlie has been attracted to Mica for the past two years so she knows the only way to survive the year of marriage with her heart intact is to keep their marriage strictly platonic. But that line gets annihilated when Mica lets himself spend the night of their wedding party publicly kissing her.

The plot to spice ratio in this book was so good. Mica’s thoughts and his mouth were just panty melting! One of my favorite scenes was in the car after she picked him up when he was drunk and he was asking about her lingerie! It was hilarious, and cute! Overall, this book was amazing! It had moments of laughter, moments of tears, a hint of mystery, and a couple of dogs!

Alex Kydd is always a yes for me, but his Russian voice for Mica was prefect. I highly recommend giving it a listen!

This book does have touch on some darker themes so please check the TW. The biggest theme is probably stalking, but not knowing the stalker, in my opinion.
