Historia
Father of cyberpunk William Gibson’s original script for Alien III, written in 1987 as a sequel to Aliens, never made it to our screens, although it went on to achieve cult status among fans as the third instalment that might have been after being leaked online. This terrifying, cinematic multicast dramatisation - directed by the multi-award-winning Dirk Maggs - is the chance to experience William Gibson’s untold story and its terrifying, claustrophobic and dark encounters between humans and aliens, as a completely immersive audio experience.

great performance but story is confusing
Revisado: 12-14-19
its too short and no enough time is spent on telling us who is who and really setting the stage for the story, they basically throw you into the action from first minute which sounds good, but it just adds a lot of confusion.

The only suspect to his best friend’s murder.... When Kirby Jackson’s friend Ryan is found dead in the comics and coffee shop the two co-own, Kirby quickly becomes suspect number one. Perhaps things wouldn't look so bad had Kirby not been planning to cut Ryan out of the business. The only witness to the crime, Ryan’s stubborn dachshund, might hold the keys to solving the case. But his attitude toward anything and everything that isn’t his warm doggy bed is less than helpful.

Great little story, but definitely too short
Revisado: 07-18-19
Its a trend I dont like, good stories with great concept that are written in a haste or written for an audible recording so they are intentionally short. they leave you with a feeling that something is missing, you wish they added more context and meat to the characters or backstory.
Here is a similar case, very cool setting and great narration and it all starts well, but along the way you feel that characters are a bit shallow and empty and its because you are missing context and backstory, like the story is rushed.
The story ends with no much fanfare and leaves you wanting to know more, as the concept was solid. Its a shame.

female nudist story narrated by a man... nooooo
Revisado: 07-15-19
this has ruined the story for me. I stopped after 5 chapters. it made no sense that a guy in a very hunky voice tells a female story from her perspective in an erotic nudist colony.
so much no.

poor story, confusing and short
Revisado: 07-15-19
good narrative but poor story with confusing. the concept is good and provided in an interesting view through voicemails and calls, but the actual story could have been made double in time to allow us to understand the characters and backstory. without ruining it, the situation in the story looked fake and made no sense timewise, i really didnt understand how it could have happened at the end.

Good book, but not what I expected.
Revisado: 07-11-19
So I got this book while playing Fallout, it starts similar with interesting nuclear setting and wasteland in chaos, we follow several groups getting lucky during the blast and now looking at the disaster. but slowly it turns into something related to magic and unrealistic, very much fantasy. wasnt bad just not what I expected.
great narrative btw.

Absolutely fantastic! a great experience.
Revisado: 05-29-19
What a great journey! I really enjoyed this book, the story, the performance, the setting and the twists. its so well done! instant classic.
Without any spoiler, this story is about a SIlo, a location underground where people live, whats amazing here is the instant setting they pull you into - there is this ritual where everyone who commits a crime is punished by being sent outside, they call it sent to "cleaning" why? because the silo has sensors and cameras outside and everyone who was sent outside to his doom, first has to clean the sensors. everyone seems to do it even after being sentenced and that's how the story starts.. and then it evolves from there, really great deep story and great deep characters.
The other thing I liked here is that you don't get to listen to history lessons much, you get to experience from characters the whole idea of SIlos and why they are there, the story doesnt touch much about the background... you get to guess.
Great experience and A+ for the narrator, she did an amazing voice acting for kids, adults, males and female and other unique characters to make them distinct. great job!

Historia
Set in present-day Los Angeles, Junk explores an epic conspiracy, one at work for thousands of years that involves total takeover of the planet Earth by aliens. In the wild, souped-up vision of Les Bohem - the acclaimed, Emmy-winning writer of the Steven Spielberg miniseries, Taken - the world is at the end stage of long-range plot that involves a gigantic genetic-engineering project. The aliens who have invaded us have no planet. No spaceship is coming. Instead, a small advance force comes, breeds, and dies - thus becoming an anomaly in our DNA that can’t be explained.

it takes special talent to write a rather short story-ish (3h) and yet deliver a deep story, good and interesting characters and a captivating narrative. add to that a great production and this is a really good book.
