Historia
Growing up in the green room of SNL, being born to a fire-eater and adopted by a SWAT cop, having internal organs explode, and adopting a deaf girl from China, Scarlet Hiltibidal has been given some strange life experiences - and lived in fear through most of them. But life changed for Scarlet when she learned to hold the gospel up to her fears and realized that though she can't fix herself or protect herself, Jesus walked into this broken, sad, scary place to rescue, love, and cast out her - and your - fear.

Real and authentic
Revisado: 07-28-20
I’ve listen to a lot of audiobooks but Scarlet brings a realness and authenticity in her words that are not easily forgotten. I also loved how everything pointed back to Scripture yet she didn’t spiritualize everything away. What a great book!

Incredible!!
Revisado: 03-20-19
He did it again! This was one of the most enjoyable stories I have ever heard. At first I wasn’t sure if this would be my cup of tea, but if you are a fan of any of Sanderson’s work, this will be beyond satisfying; it’s a masterpiece. The narrator they selected was perfect.

Historia
Millions are satisfied to sit through hour-long, weekly religious services. Millions more have left the church, brokenhearted and cynical. But God is waking up his people - people who will risk everything and sacrifice anything to become the dynamic, powerful church seen in Scripture. We Are Church calls Christ-followers, young and old, to hold fast to their biblical roots while seeking radical change. Scripture promises an exuberant and unstoppable church. That wondrous early church of acts can be our reality today.

Powerful message framed in love
Revisado: 10-06-18
Francis Chan has been able to articulate what so many of us in the faith have been feeling. But instead of undertones of divisiveness it is framed in love; every step of the way.

Historia
Is it really possible to love one's enemies? That's the question that sparked a fascinating and, at times, terrifying journey into the heart of the Middle East during the summer of 2008. It was a trip that began in Egypt, passed beneath the steel-and-glass high-rises of Saudi Arabia, then wound through the bullet-pocked alleyways of Beirut and dusty streets of Damascus, before ending at the cradle of the world's three major religions: Jerusalem.

Humanizing insight
Revisado: 09-06-16
I absolutely love this book. It brings everything down to the human level. Ted did an amazing job writing this book along with Carl. I would highly recommend it.
