Decent story
Revisado: 03-12-24
This story was recommended to me. like others I wish the prologue didn't really tell you what was going to happen. my pet peeve with the narrator was pronouncing Donte like" Don-tee " instead of "Don-tay" yet his nickname being "Tay". I cringed every single time the name was said.

The storyline was kind of slow. The narrator was GARBAGE though. She was dragging which also made the story drag. She would pause for far too long and also you can hear when she swallows. That alone made me cringe. The worst!!!!!

I enjoyed the book for the most part
Revisado: 09-12-23
Book was decent. the The reader sounded like Trey Songz. It's so many characters in the book that sometimes I would get storylines confused. That was the only part I didn't really like. It seemed to end super quickly.. like the story other at a certain pace and then it just ended in a chapter super fast.

Lots of crazy twists
Revisado: 09-01-23
This book was something else. I did enjoy it. I didn't really read what it was about before I started listening so I had no idea what to expect and was not really sure where it was going at first. It kept my attention once it started all making sense.
The reader though....irked me so bad. The swallowing and long swallowing between sentences at times was very annoying and the breathing. I couldn't ignore it. Never had this in any other book I've listened to.

Are you absolutely sure there isn't? After all, there's an Animal in all of us.

Horrible Narration
Revisado: 03-21-23
Definitely should've stuck with the previous narrator. I was so lost for the longest thinking it was a new character because of how he said "Ca-la" instead of "Carla". I was literally confused. He did not make this book exciting at all. It was just so blah...it's like listening to the Visine commercials. This killed my excitement for this book. I just want it to be over and I'm not done yet.

Certain parts of this book were all over the place and had me confused. Other areas seemed rushed. It was decent but not really what I expected.
