Historia
After ten years of exile, following regicide in the House of Tristain, an alarming royal edict is delivered to the immortal scarecrow Guardians who once defended the crown: surrender themselves to the church of the Silent Gods, or stand accused of further treason. But with a puppet prince set to take the throne and vengeful wraiths appearing with alarming frequency, something foul and sinister is at work in the kingdom of Niveaux.

We all need a Guardian!
Revisado: 11-30-24
This is an dynamic story woven with such compelling details, you can almost smell the lavender embrace as you read. This isn't my typical story genre, however, the careful crafting of the authors words leave me hungry for the next adventure of Lady Charlotte and the Order of the Guardians! Excellent debut novel for Erica Ivy Rodgers!

amazingly relevant

This book may be one of my new favorites. While seemingly about a young girl and her quest to find her calling in life, this story has a strong undercurrent of the struggles those who find themselves in the minority experience and how they must stand together to overcome hatred, discrimination and ignorance. I found myself wanting to post quotes of passages that are so important for humanity to hear right now! Chris Colfer, you are my new hero.
