Historia
I am the type of woman who always plays it safe. In my professional life as a public relations "fixer", and in my personal life, especially when it comes to the opposite sex. Really, who needs the wild highs and the I-want-to-die-because-he-left-me lows of a relationship? At least, that's what I thought...until I met HIM. Damian No-Last-Name-Given is sexy as sin, and I'd developed some kind of weird, instant attraction to him the moment he settled his chiseled body next to mine on a flight from London to Los Angeles.

Great book but a few weird issues
Revisado: 09-11-24
Great story, but women don't refer to themselves or others as "females" like were animals. That was weird and irksome.
So was the overuse of the word damned.
Overuse of a few other words, but thos two were the most glaring.

the last few chapters were useful
Revisado: 01-15-23
the start of the book kind of went on about the same things over and over. the end got down to brass tacks about what to do. I will listen again starting at chapter 14. good tips overall, it just took a little while to get there.

What an empowering story!
Revisado: 05-29-22
I bought the book because I heard the author speak in person and was blown away. The little piece of life story she shared that day was made so vivid in this book. As a Caribbean woman facing all sorts of challenges and wondering when I'll catch a break, this was all the inspiration I needed. She convinces you that if you keep going, keep preparing yourself for better, that better may just be waiting around the corner for you.

Many things to think about
Revisado: 06-01-19
I'm going through so much of what the author references. He gave great points to consider.
