What an amazing performance given by the narrator to this beautiful, yet tragic, story. When not listening, I wondered what Seisha was doing. As I returned to the story, I hoped it wouldn’t end. Yet I knew, it must. Read, listen, let this story enter your mind; your soul. You will never be the same. War and leaders of countries care nothing for the people. It is only to gain or regain, whatever is believed to be power and dominance at the time.

This slice was a little stale

Once again, Lexi finds herself in the middle of a murder. What’s new you may ask. Not too much, but the story still had a way of keeping you listening. The narrator, usually really good, had some character blunders along the way which was rather disappointing. It would be nice to have “the girls” be a little less predictable as well as the plot. Fresh pie is always better.

What to Say

I think I missed a part. The plot kinda has a resolution, but then does it? Why do these obviously intelligent women need men to make them happy in each and every book? So, will the relationships last through book 3? Who will leave the coven first? Will Clark be sent to the other dimension? I guess I’ll have to listen to find out.

Interesting but not captivating

I learned a lot about this battle through a very well narrated performance. To me, the story lacked personality because there were few people’s stories to bring it to life. However, I would recommend this book as it does provide the history of this battle well.

Blackmoor Sisters

Throughout this series, my main complaint was with the narrator. She just didn’t appeal to me. She did do well imitating a cat, though. As for the stories, they were okay. I found the characters difficult to connect to. Love is grand, but does it have to affect everyone? I ask you to read the series as this is my opinion and feelings. You may find these girls right up your paranormal alley.

It’s not Murder Club

It took me a while to adjust your this new cast of characters and how the book tells the story. I almost didn’t listen beyond Chapter 1, but I’m
Glad I stayed along for the ride. It’s a true who-dun-it, and the secret is well-kept. I will tell you this my favorite character is Rosie. Thank you, Mr. Osman, for another great read.

A great whodunit-kinda

On a positive note, the narrator made this book. She did an amazing job! I fear if it weren’t for her I wouldn’t have finished this book.
The not-so-positive:The story was very slow in parts. Yet the perpetrators were not easily identified making the mystery quite good.
This book is another Give It a Try book. Thank you, again, to the narrator.

Not the usual for Dr. Reichs

I want to preface this by saying I love Dr. Reichs and her books. However, to me, this was not the best. The plot drug in places and the usual suspense wasn’t there. That being said, I will a wait anxiously for another book. Everyone deserves an off day.
