I have been on the fence with this series. It's been ok nothing special. With that said the interaction between the brother and princess and the lack of reaction from the MC was enough for me to call it quits.

Gave it a try but should've listened 2 the review
Revisado: 05-08-21
Not good, after reading the summary I thought it would follow the MC, Nehalem but I was wrong. He is the main focus but the story follows multiple characters and given how short the book is, it takes away from the devoplment of the characters.
The narration is not terrible but if you can't do women's voices should stick to not even attempting it. A poor manly woman's voice is worst then a man simply narrating.
Spoliers,
Multiple parts of the story simply did make sense. For example one of the woman is making an advance towards the MC and he is worried about getting involved with fellow soldiers but they are not soldiers but survivors from a nuclear explosion denoted by their employer. Secondly there are already 2 couples out of 6 people with cheating going on. Or in other words all but the MC is getting action.
They are suppose to be trapped for at least a year but suddenly they are out, working for those who tried to kill them to attack a group of aliens who also attacked them. I just don't understand how they got out so quickly and why work for those who attempted to kill you. Additionally the MC is out for revenge for who killed his brother but the person responsible is also the lead scientist, the MC"s ex girlfriend and the company he is working for.
I simply don't understand.
To the harem aspect, it's non existent. There is a few girl on girl scenes which are those cheating on thier partners. The MC does not physically have any actions but does in a weird dream state with his ex. The potential for a harem is their but honestly if I was the MC I would get as far away from these women as fast as possible.
Honestly I feel zero connection with any of the characters and I won't be continuing this series.

All Max wants is to become a climber and search for his long-lost sister. But citizens aren’t allowed to climb - they aren’t even allowed remotely in the vicinity of the mysterious and magical tower. Plus, even if citizens could enter, it didn’t change the fact that Max’s body is paralyzed from the waist down, confined to a wheelchair. No way would anyone let him enter the tower. Ever.

Tower climbing with No Climbing!
Revisado: 03-03-21
Minor Spoilers,
Book was ok could have been better if it actually followed the title however it was all about training to go into the tower. I get teen awkwardness but his best friend before moving to the tower district was a girl. One would think if that was the case at least that woild help. However the MC used that accuse over and over and over again it gets kind of old. Then there is his tower climbing mentor who really did no mentoring but taught him to run, do push-ups and sit-ups, not much more. One would think if the MC was in a wheelchair most of his life maybe teaching some hand to hand combat or how to use his ablitiles in combat but zero training. When there was fighting it was pretty slow, for example during an arena fight one combatant got hit, it took what 3 chapters or so for the combatant to get up. We were switched from character to character to replay that hit multiple times from each character and then an entire chapter of the combatant"s struggles with thier inner demons struggling to stand and continue the fight. Wish there was more action, more exploring, just more of everything but what the book offered, monologimg and inter dialog about prior struggles rather it was bullying, name calling or whatnot. The book is titled tower climber but that seemed to take a back seat to the rest.

Disappointing
Revisado: 01-15-21
Missing the character of Helen. I personally don't care when the characters of the prior book don't play similar roles in future books. I won't be continuing this series because of that. These types of books are to short to allow characters not to be developed and involved in future books. There simply was no growth between the two main characters in book 1 and no real development in any new relationships.

Henry never realized he was special. Sure, he’s an engineer who served his country, but when the virus hit, he found himself alone in a nearly empty world. That’s the key, though: nearly empty. There’s no one left who has the technical know-how to make the world run again...except for Henry. For humanity to survive, he will have to rebuild society out of the motley crew of survivors. It might be impossible, but at the same time, Henry has always loved a challenge.

Wanted to like but ultimately did not,
Revisado: 12-15-20
Minor Spoilers,
Honestly really only one thing turned me off on this book and it was the character Jackie and her beliefs on the future. She tells the MC she expects to be with multiple guys to have babies from them all, or in other words to be a baby factory. I understand her reasoning behind that but it would never work given how few people remain. In order for a breeding program to work the remaining people worldwide would all have to gather. Additionally if they don't all gather they don't have enough people for all the women to be with child all the time and maintain the home. Cooking, cleaning, taking care of the livestock, farming and hunting are just a few examples of the work needing done daily, It will take many hands, both male and female hands in order to maintain the homestead.
That said book 2 is about a group of people taking women to use as breeding stock. This is exactly what Jackie.said she was ok with. However the MC and his women including Jackie are set against that which will end up causing a conflict between the 2 groups.
In theory a breeding program would be ideal to help populate the world again. Sadly there has to be enough people to diversify and given the scenario there just is not enough people for a program like that to work. Let's not forget the human factor, emotions! We know by our past arranged marriage don't really work. You really think children will fall into line and continue the breeding program?
Jackie and the premise of book 2 is just a major turn off so I won't be purchasing book 2 or continuing with this series.

Just ok,
Revisado: 11-25-20
The narration could have been better.
The world did not make a lot of sense. Yes few men have the potential for reproduction but that does not explain the female population. If men can't have children would that not mean more purely physical relations? Nothing explained why there are so many F/F relationships.
Minor Spoilers,
I'm sorry but adding a friend that is not in a relationship with the MC into the harem has nothing but ill intentions later on. Simply because of that I have not bought and doubt I will buy book 2. Honestly I thought the fighting against a government agency took away from the story. I would have been happy if the story just followed the original start of the book. A college kid finding his way through life with his newly discovered ability to reproduce. Not everything has to end up with a life and death struggle, its kind of old!

Historia
Charles Murphy's superpower is useless. He can turn into a churro. In a world where one percent of the population has powers, he's quite below average; many would say he's completely useless. And they have. At length. For years. Despite his deep-seated desire to be a hero, his ability isn't glamorous and can't be used to fight crime, so he and a small cadre of similarly useless supers are relegated to Omega Team and told explicitly that all they will ever need to do is sit there and look pretty. And while waiting to be called up to the big leagues, they might as well get laid, right?

I had a few issues,
Minor Spoilers,
The MC was threatened with giving a blow job and he did nothing but continued helping. My issue is how he just let it go. One has to stand up for themself. Second, one used her powers during sexual activities to have another female submit and nothing happened to her but he was threatened with giving a BJ, really? I can't stand double standards!!!!
Given that overall the book had a good flow and the sex did not seem forced. The sex fits well with the story and even adds to it. I can't wait for the next book

Enough with Shucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Minor Spoilers,
The relationship dynamics was settled halfway through this book. I highly doubt I will continue this series. The MC allows his love intrest to dictate much of the relationship and work, as well simply walking over him. Well the 2 females sit at home nice and safe running everything the MC is out working hard and risking his life to provide. So i can not understand why his first wife can have companionship but the MC can't. Plus would not the wives want to ensure the MC safety when he is away from home? The final straw is leaving the addition to the relationship to the wives. The MC fines a unquie species who was traumatized and wants to join the family. The wives want to add her but he says no. The ultimate goal is to repopulate and he turns down an unquie species, one who is very rare. I simply lost all respect for the MC. The reason behind a small family was to ensure trust but ultimately it failed. When the MC was out a coup happened due to one of the people they revived. The MC died saving his wife and later she was poisoned. I guess that strategy did not work!!! Anyone with any brains would have known that. Yes a loved one can betray but it is much less likely then others you just employ.

Was just Ok,
Revisado: 11-07-20
Minor Spoilers,
I have many issues with this book. It started out good with a focus on leveling up and getting stronger. Then when he realized he must get stronger to defeat the protagonist/antagonist he stopped leveling. Honestly did he even gain a level during the second half of the book?
The second issue was the last sex scene. During most of the book the MC only has sex with one character. These scenes are pretty long and descriptive. Now when he finally has sex with the other character its mainly him having an inner dialog of the past and whats to come. The first time should be special with a focus on that scene. The other scenes after the first can be quicker and not as detailed but not the first time.
Frankly the lack of focus the MC has in pleasing the beast girl is a major turn off. The MC made a comment I wonder how she taste. At anytime the MC could have focused on her pleasure but it was always about his pleasure with the beast girl. It just gives men a bad image. Additionally I hate peer pressure and the beast girl won't stop pressuring the other woman into joining. She even puts down the MC to try to convince her to join. In a lot of ways the MC is an Alpha male type but not when it comes to women. When dealing with the women he turns into a Beta allowing them to belittle and dictate much of the relationship. Sorry but in polygamist relationship, rather its 1 male and many women or 1 woman and many men the 1 needs to be the Alpha or the relationship will never work.
I'm not sure if I'll continue with this series. In an environment like this one there should be much more fighting, especially given the MC's class. It has the starts of a harem but not really a harem in this book. It has the potential to be a good book but just falls short.

Think I'm done with this series,
Revisado: 10-26-20
This is more of a personal preference but I don't like series with multiple MC, especially in shorter books like this. In the future books it looks like that is what is to come.
Minor Spoilers,
With that said another main reason is the lack of depth in the actual relationship building between characters. The lack of respect shown towards some and frankly the lack of vision between the MC, Vampire and Shewolf. All share a bond forged in blood and the Shewolf is kept on the outside and disrespected. The Vampire is the only one ever birthed and nobody knows if she will be able to give birth. The Shewolf on the other hand has a short life incompariosn, fertile and because of the MC's blood her DNA has been altered as the MC's was. Given all that, where the MC and the Vampire most likely won't be able to have a family would it not be smart to bring the Shewolf into the relationship to form that family? Additionally the same reason behind the changes to all 3 characters, a line of pups might be highly advanced. This might make a difference generation down the road where those advance abilities might be needed. My issue really is in the lack of conversation between the 3 and how the Shewolf is disrespected by all for the feelings she has for the MC.
The whole memory lost was lazy writing to skip writing about the dynamics of the bonds of the blooded 3. I enjoy reading about the building, development and the conflict an unorthodox relationship brings. In an earlier book 7 months was skipped where it was early in the relationship of the MC and :Vampire. Honestly I would have preferred reading about that 7 months other then the new MC. Those are the building blocks of the relationship and directly impacts the future. By skipping that and other critical moments we never are as connected to the characters as we should be. It so sad because this has the bones to be a great series but instead it's just ok which is causing me not to finish the series. Perhaps in the future books things I talked about will be addressed but as I was scanning it looks like the 3 is split into two 2's which only highlights what I've said in this review.
