I'm not a big fan of affirmations. However, I was looking for something inspiring and motivating to listen and found this audible. I tried others before and mostly I hated the narrations. However, I like the tone of this one and the messages they are very optimistic. As a first time mom, I have physically struggle and the type of messages on this audio took my attention towards deeper more spiritual ideas. I'd like to have more like it. It feels a bit short. Totally recomend it 💓

You dont know it, but you need this book
Revisado: 03-07-21
I simply loved this book. It is not only about writing and tips on how to write better. It is about the meaning of writing, writing as a practice, as a lífe style. I love that in this audible Natalie, the author, rereads the book herself and makes comments about the original text. It is so interesting to see how she has chanched, how her views have matured, developed, and evolved. I want to read more of her work.
I saw some comments regarding the tone of her voice. Honestly, it is particular, but it makes the experiences even More natural, more real. That's her, the author, and Is amazing. Get the book!

It is worth given a try!!!
Revisado: 01-12-19
I do not agree with many of the ideas put forward in the book, and some of the author's approaches, particularly in terms of gender in rule 11, and some political economy concepts...But I have to say I really enjoyed the stories behind each rule, the ideas about chaos and order, the references to good and evil, the meaning of a more fulfilling life, and the narration. At some points the author's voice breaks, and you can feel him crying, I cried! and it doesnt happen to often when listening a book.

Historia
In The Righteous Mind, social psychologist Jonathan Haidt explores the origins of our divisions and points the way forward to mutual understanding. His starting point is moral intuition - the nearly instantaneous perceptions we all have about other people and the things they do. These intuitions feel like self-evident truths, making us righteously certain that those who see things differently are wrong. Haidt shows us how these intuitions differ across cultures, including the cultures of the political left and right.

Interesting and and entertaining. It has the signature Richard Branson style, lots of stories, and some helpful advices for entrepreneurs.
It is rather short. The longest chapter is less than 6 minutes. Yes, it is very concise, but personally, I would like the book to further elaborate on some ideas. Anyways, a good book, and I specially like to hear it from Branson himself.
