enjoyable story plot and characters
Revisado: 10-03-20
this is an enjoyable story with a good plot. I listened to it to lean more about the rising and I think it filled the bill. there are some plot points that in retrospect didn't seem necessary but the main plot surrounding the principal character was good.

Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

first half great second half pretty good
Revisado: 08-23-19
the first half is really good and innovative with the description of the colony on the moon and how the main character lives there. the second half becomes much more of a traditional mystery or action type story.

pretty good conclusion
Revisado: 08-03-19
I really have enjoyed this series on the war of the roses. this particular book want quite as good as the previous books in the series. I don't know if I had gotten too used to his way of telling stories but this wasn't as suspenseful as the other books. I actually felt he could've made this two books as the denoument felt a little rushed.
the author's depiction of Richard III was really good.

“I have sensed a disturbance in the Force.” Ominous words under any circumstances, but all the more so when uttered by Emperor Palpatine. On Batuu, at the edges of the Unknown Regions, a threat to the Empire is taking root - its existence little more than a glimmer, its consequences as yet unknowable. But it is troubling enough to the Imperial leader to warrant investigation by his most powerful agents: ruthless enforcer Lord Darth Vader and brilliant strategist Grand Admiral Thrawn.

very good second book
Revisado: 11-25-18
I really enjoy the author's description of the personalities and his ability to show you their different perspectives. it almost seems like a conflict that should've never taken place. the author also does a good job of describing the battles. I do sometimes get confused by all the personalities and listening to the book probably increase the confusion bc you can't go back and check who is who.
