I can't say what it is but things feel cheap or dull with this one past the first quarter of the book. Maybe I just getting burned out in lit rpg stuff but I was constantly working to get though this one. Now one complaint about the voice work I have is everyone's internal monologue or thoughts is the same as out little dragon idol and it can be confusing at times when the perspectives shift from her. Also the yelling screams and singing is well flat it seems like it was done so poorly that it was kind of malicious compliance.

I was looking forward to this because of the fun concept that it take the pov from a native that runs into the otherwolrder. But it was so flat for everything maybe it was the narration just did not appeal to me or something else I can't put my finger on. I feel like this might be something I would have enjoyed if I had found when I was just getting into lit rpg type audiobooks but sorry to say I only lasted 4 hours into it.

I fully enjoyed the hunt.

So if you have already listened to all the main books or finished book 12 you end up knowing the fate and future of some the cast. I also get a feeling of knowing how some events will play out in book 3 even if those audiobooks have not even been made. But its a solid proformance. As and one of the guys that worked back stage in theater I enjoyed a few flashbacks of my listening and remembering. still expecting a sam or deen joke or even a Kansas reference by Cid at some point.

things are bulding and developing on the world and happy to find a series that includes the less action packed parts of the cast members live. so many would take this whole book and make into like 3 chapters. but here we get to see the everyones motivations and there methods.

This is now starting to remind me of my stellaris runs. Moral quandarys ethics issues the fact you as a player will out live the masses on the worlds you governor. I am enjoying it fully.

I did not expect to like this so much.

I was not expecting much more than a trope filled sci-fi based isekai with OP protagonist with busted tech. turns out the future is not what I expected it be. I enjoyed all the Bobs variations. I am so looking forward to how things play out with the vulcans and the deltans.

I did not expect such a gift at the ending. I doubt they know how much they know they just gave up even if it's comes with a tripwire.

all the meta jokes

The story is fun meta and all meta that touches and uses both real and fantasy meta in its meta world story with even meta jokes about lit rpg and cultivation tales if you can spot them. If you like playing spot the lore like I do you will enjoy it.
