Good but not as good as the first book

the book went in a complete different direction then I had anticipated which is a good thing but the story wasn't as good as the first book I do wish it would wrap up with a third book.

why can't I just rate with stars? I don't feel like getting into details. it just wasn't great. the other books were better and the ending was underwhelming.

Grown folks with high school mentalities

Parts of the story were really good but a lot of it was repetitive and too focused on the physical looks of the main female character which made no sense to me. It didn't add any value to the story it just made it seem very immature and like an almost 40 year old woman was desperately fishing for compliments while pretending that she was wasn't and was okay with being plain. It just didn't sit right with me, it seemed very childish.

male narrator is so cringy

I could not stand the male narrators' voice. He made every thing sound creepy and like he was about to giggle constantly. And if he said Rachel one more time I would have lost my grip and threw my phone lol.

With that being said I liked the lead male character Miles but during the "past" chapters he was made to sound like an obsessive creep. It's hard to say if it was because of the writing or the narrator but I feel like it was a combo of both. Nobody says someone else's name that many times!

If you can get past that it actually is a decent book. It's definitely my least favorite Colleen Hoover book thus far but I have read worse books by other authors.

Loved the book it was an easy listen as far as story flow. The only thing I was kind of annoyed by was the narration for the male lead character.

Hard to believe this is a Molly McAdams book

I'm a huge Molly McAdams fan but this book just didn't do it for me. For me the flow was way off. Too rushed during parts that seemed like they should have more attention and detail and too detailed through parts that seemed irrelevant. Harper is my least favorite character thus far and it was rough trying to make it through this one. With the way this book rushed through it just made her seem like a spoiled brat with daddy issues and a "poor me I should be a princess and always get what I want" complex. And the narrator was terrible and made it so much worse. She lacked all emotion and some of the voices she tried were so strange and cringy. The best part was the end... not because it was a good one but because it was finally over!

this was a struggle to finish I only did because I paid for extra credits to get it. I'll make sure not to waste extra credits on this author or these narrators again.

the book was good overall. the male narration was hard to listen to at times and in my personal opinion was not the right fit for the character he was reading. Also I wasn't a fan of all the sound effects. I found them extremely odd with a game show like feel but the actual story was decent.

there wasn't as much effort put into the story as other characters and that's a shame. also the narrators weren't the best choice sometimes the emotions didn't match the way they said it. the female was also too whiny in some spots.
