A fun ride
Revisado: 08-11-22
Drew Magary is one of my favorite authors and this one definitely doesn't disappoint. It's a strange and short ride but worth the experience.

Historia
When COVID-19 sweeps through New York City, Jamie Gray is stuck as a dead-end driver for food-delivery apps. That is, until Jamie makes a delivery to an old acquaintance, Tom, who works at what he calls “an animal rights organization”. Tom’s team needs a last-minute grunt to handle things on their next field visit. Jamie, eager to do anything, immediately signs on. What Tom doesn't tell Jamie is that the animals his team cares for are not here on Earth. Not our Earth, at at least. In an alternate dimension, dinosaur-like creatures named Kaiju roam a warm and human-free world.

Not sure what the fuss is about
Revisado: 08-11-22
The performance by Wil Wheaton is incredible as always. The set up for the story had me intrigued but once it got going it just completely fell flat. I really don't know how to take this book. Is it supposed to be young adult reading? The characters are empty and devoid of any momentum or desires. The plot just trudges along. There's nothing particularly funny. After 5 hours listening became a chore and I felt absolutely zero reason to continue. It's just "this happened and then this happened and then this happened... etc". I wouldn't recommend this title.
