Historia
A year ago, my best friend received an exclusive invitation to join an elite brotherhood at Kingston University. He went into Hawthorne Hall for his initiation—but never came out. I intend to find out why. The brotherhood would never knowingly invite a female into their ranks. So what if I forged my father's signature on the recommendation? With a name like Elliot Ashford, they'll never see me coming. I'll endure whatever hell these brutal brothers put me through because I have no intention of backing down or bowing out gracefully. It won't be pretty.

Teddy Hamilton saves the day
Revisado: 05-05-25
Not a great story overall, but I cannot deny the vocal talents of Teddy Hamilton. I’ll listen to anything he narrates. Worth finishing the book, but I probably won’t finish this series. Not worth my credits, tbh.

Mystery and History combined
Revisado: 06-07-24
What a great story! Narrated by three great women, this book tells the story of how three different women in time were related, how stories were told, and mysteries unraveled. Once I started, I couldn’t stop! I wished there was an epilogue. :)

I’m ngl, I didn’t enjoy the last book of this series very well, but this one took the cake! Hilarious. I enjoyed it immensely.

Good story but miss Wil Wheaton’s narration
Revisado: 05-22-24
The story itself was short, so I’m contemplating whether I should finish the 6 or 7 book series ($1 each) but each book is 1.5 hrs or less, and narrated by some dude that I didn’t care for. I guess I’m so used to Wil Wheaton’s voice and dry delivery, everyone else pales in comparison, imo.

Felt this deep in my heart
Revisado: 03-03-24
Ngl, it took a little getting past the narrator’s voice, but after that, my mind just concentrated on the story, and I felt transported straight into Kylee’s world. As a sexual assault survivor myself, I could relate to all her feelings of shame, disgust, regret, etc. The way she took care of her baby sister was heartbreakingly beautiful. All in all, a great story of survival, overcoming obstacles, and breaking through barriers to see the light (moon) on the other side. I highly recommend this book to anyone struggling with their past.

But things are not all full of magic and sunlight on the island. There's something darker and more sinister haunting the forest. And worse, the fae queen and Captain Hook are ready to fight for control of Neverland and they will stop at nothing to get what they want. I love this re-imagining of the Lost Boys and Pan. And daaaang are the scenes hot! The narrators did a fantastic job, as usual, but the storyline was fantastic as well. Can’t wait for book 3!!!

Satisfying Ending
Revisado: 02-18-24
While I think the first two books were slightly better, this third book provided lots of action, sass, a bit of spice, and a nice wrapped up bow of an ending. Bryce is certainly the best character!

Slow burn, not her best
Revisado: 02-02-24
I’ve been working my way through all the series, and this, by far, is my least favorite. A re-telling of Aladdin, it imagines what would happen if “Jafar” ended up with “Jasmine”. It was just meh. Like, they magically fell in love? It was a little far-fetched. Hoping the next one is better.

Was expecting more
Revisado: 01-29-24
I read that it takes a bit to get into the TOG world, and boy are they right. I enjoyed Book One, but this sequel was…dry and lacking so much. I found my mind wandering and then missing parts bc it couldn’t keep my attention. Not sure if I’m going to continue this series or not.

Fantastic spicy story
Revisado: 01-15-24
This book was everything I wanted. A tattoo covered prince, ladies in waiting, a queen-to-be…The story hooked me immediately and I couldn’t put it down. Fancy balls, murders, daggers and handcuffs…it lacked nothing! I especially loved the ending- not the typical “get married and get pregnant” ending most writers default to. Much better!!
