Good characters, interesting storyline. Plenty of issues to overcome and deal with.

Our athletic MC is rightfully concerned about coming out. In his world, being homosexual is documented and any potential soccer teams would have access to that info. Decisions regarding his future might be based on that one fact.

Our musician MC has been out and doesn't have to depend on his sexuality to wow a crowd. Unfortunately, he does have to depend on his father's money to support the band.

Narrator Piers Ryman is delightful with his rough English accent. Terms that were unfamiliar to me were made clear with his usage and intonations. It was fun!

I gave the story only 4 **** because there was no clear conclusion to events hours in the making. It was too close to real life drama, and does not have an HEA. I really missed that.

Excellent Spinoff

I expected a fluff filled novella. I should have known better. Charlie Cochet gave a well thought out novel with several intertwining plots. All loose ends are tied up, there is a HEA, and we are left happily anticipating the next story.

The story features secondary characters from the THIRDS universe, giving us insight into other departments of the THIRDS and introducing us to TIN (Therian Intelligence Network). Our sneaky cheetah Therian, Austin, is our MC.

Narrator Mark Westfield has allowed his voice to drop into a slow, honeyed purr in this volume from the crisp, firm cadence of the beginning THIRDS novels. I don't feel it's the best choice for an action/adventure, but Ms. Chochet likes him, so... 4****

Time travel romances are a favorite trope, and this one has a unique spin.

Finding the snow globe, Jason is shocked to see a man there that no one else can see. Learning how to communicate is a challenge.

Nick J Russo brings this tale the spark it deserves.

Such a Clever Title!

The story is laugh out loud hilarious as it is filled with nautical puns and flirty one liners.

I didn't expect to fall in love with Cal, but Lucy Lennox worked her magic. Cal is a 20-something delight. John, the age-gap older lover is a completely believable character. He is a career driven overachiever who isn't ready for his life to be shaken up by anyone, much less the adorable Cal.

Michael Dean rocks the narration with his impeccable timing and ability to yell, "F**k!"
without it sounding ridiculous. Throughly enjoyed this book.

It Could Happen

The United States has been split into three countries. The Conservative country focuses on strict religion and "family values." All people who sexually identify as other than straight are arrested and sent to camps.

One night an explosion of meteors falls in and around the camp causing complete chaos. Many of the inmates take the opportunity to escape.

A group of 3 friends decide to make their way together. The story tells of how they work together, interact with other characters, and deal with the extreme complications of an alien invasion. That was no ordinary meteor shower!

The books can be purchased separately, but they are not standalones. This bundle keeps the story flowing, and there are bonus scenes, too.

Kenneth Obi did an outstanding job of narrating the story. It was easy to follow the events and characters. He was a gifted storyteller.

Hours of Sexy Angels

I have read the series, and have some of the audios.

When the opportunity to buy the series bundle came up, I was happy to get it.

Each story highlights an angel of Heaven's Ballroom, their story, and their sweetheart.

The bundle is very well done with each book melding seamlessly into the next. If you want a particular book, the menu makes it easy to find.

Stephen Van Doren has a great voice for the rough and growly alphas, as well as a smooth tenor for the omegas. Throughly enjoyable series.

A short, light intro, then hours of relaxing music paired with nature sounds: ocean waves, piano, raindrops, soft guitars, and more. At the end of the audiobook, a smooth, quiet voice offers a short concludion. If I am asleep, the voice does not jar me awake. I sleep right on through till the 5:00 AM alarm goes off.

A Wonderful Addition to the Mercy Hills Universe

Delightful!

This is considered to be a spin off story, but beloved characters from the Forbidden Desires series make their appearances and are crucial to the plot.

Steve, one of my favorite reptiles, and adorable pink Darwin, as well as annoying (but somehow endearing) Harry are featured as well.

Magic. mayhem, and a frightening egg-knapping swirl together to make an adventure filled story. There are light elements of BDSM and lovely lingerie.

Michael Ferraiuolo is a master audio craftsman. The musical intro and exit was a delightful surprise.

Really enjoyed the story and am very happy to have added this volume to my Audible library.
