Just awful. It was like he was making it up as he went, and doing a poor job at that. Narration was so weird and slow and overdramatic, I tried putting it on 1.5X pace, but it was still bad. Save your money.

Fine for if you're already doing well

Manero blows through the topic of "how to get out of broke" pretty quickly, with vague recommendations like "stop spending" and "sell stuff."

He seems more interested in telling you how to become really rich AFTER you've gotten out of broke.

If you are already doing well and want to get really wealthy, this would be an okay book, although I find his macho attitude a little irritating. But if you need more specific advice on how to get out of debt and manage your money, I would recommend You Need a Budget by Jesse Meacham. A lot more practical information in a less bombastic style.
