Historia
Even in small towns, restless spirits and malevolent forces walk the streets. Oscar Mendoza knows this from personal experience. Mendoza can't remember a time when he couldn't see the spirits all around him. He does remember, however, when he first became unsettled by the experience. The year was 1980, and he was only four years old. He had been warned by his parents to never go down a certain alley in their town, but Mendoza decided to ignore their warning.

The cover is scarey, the book not so much.,

I couldn't stop listening!
Revisado: 01-22-19
I couldn't stop listening! The narrator's Spanish was a little awkward, but Spanish words and phrases were minimal, and it didn't take away from the story. Just made me chuckle when I realized what was being said.

A Great Performance of an Excellent Story

Pretty good
Revisado: 08-25-18
The performance was great. The story was pretty good, but had a kind of slow start. Also, more vulgar (in language) than I was prepared for, and every feeling was described in reference to a part of the male anatomy. Not very creative... If that sort of thing doesn't bother you, you'll probably love it.

Historia
Jellyfish are an enigma. They have no centralized brain, but they see and feel and react to their environment in complex ways. They look simple, yet their propulsion systems are so advanced that engineers are just learning how to mimic them. They produce some of the deadliest toxins on the planet and still remain undeniably alluring. Long ignored by science, they may be a key to ecosystem stability. Juli Berwald's journey into the world of jellyfish is a personal one.

Well-written, strange feedback in narration
Revisado: 01-09-18
Well-written. The narrator/author is good, but somehow sounds mechanical, which makes it hard to listen to after a while.
