Historia
In Strong Advocate, Thomas Strong, one of the most successful trial lawyers in Missouri's history, chronicles his adventures as a contemporary personal injury attorney. Though the profession is held in low esteem by the general public, Strong entered the field with the right motives: to help victims who have been injured by defective products or through the negligence of others.
As a twelve-year-old in rural southwest Missouri during the Great Depression, Strong bought a cow, then purchased others as he could afford them, and eventually financed his education with the milk he sold.

Slow Start But Gets Better
Revisado: 01-31-19
I bought this because I thought it was a guide for helping trial lawyers, but was surprised it was more of a memoir (should have read the description). I didn't particularly care for the beginning where he talks about his childhood, but I really enjoyed listening to his adult life story and particularly his most memorable trials. This can get a little legalese-y though, so I'm not sure how much someone unfamiliar with the language would enjoy it. I think the author does a great job of making it as easy to understand as possible, but after all he is recounting his legal career. Overall would recommend.
