Always enjoy Ford's work
Revisado: 07-15-13
This book has some enjoyable twists and turns. I could have done without the graphic sex, his sex scenes seem to be getting more spicy in his writings.

typical Ford book, I enjoy his stories
Revisado: 06-25-13
This book has several plot twists that I did not expect, the ending was totally expected as far as Blake's love interest is concerned. .
I thought the sex scenes were rather graphic and could have been toned down a little. Felt a little like Fords religious beliefs were being shoved upon me.

Great read !!!!
Revisado: 06-25-13
Would you listen to What We Remember again? Why?
Yes, I have already started listening again
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
This book was a little confusing at first with the writer jumping back and forth from the early 80's and then to the early 90's. Stick with it and you will find the book well worth the listen. Interesting plot with many suspects
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
The narrator gets on my nerves but I have to deal with him since he reads most of Fords works. He needs to be replaced, very dull voice.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
"Family Secrets"

Historia
Twenty years have passed since Mary Ann Singleton left her husband and child in San Francisco to pursue her dream of a career in New York. Now a pair of personal calamities has driven her back to the city of her youth and into the arms of her friend, Michael "Mouse" Tolliver, a gardener happily ensconced with his much-younger husband. Mary Ann finds refuge in the couple's backyard cottage, where, at the unnerving age of 57, she licks her wounds and takes stock of her mistakes.

Any additional comments?
The first books in the series were wonderful, easy reads. This book is a hard read, never liked the character MaryAnn and this confirms she should have stayed on the east coast. The series has become trite and should be retired.
