Wonderful and far too short

First of all I would like to thank you for this wonderful interview. I found it uplifting as I have lost faith in the vegan community and feel they have become too politicised and ideological and the empathy for other humans has been lost. As your guest rightly said, veganism is about empathy and kindness for others both humans and animals. I am curious if that empathy extends to growing babies in the womb of their mothers. I could never understand how vegans could support the horrors of abortion… after all… we all know what the meat, dairy & egg industries hide, so why are vegans so resistant to seeing the facts about the BIG BUSINESS that is human baby parts and organs of planned parenthood? The leftwing and extreme leftwing parties have APPROPRIATED veganism using it to attack those with a different political perspective. I find these vegans to be extremely hateful and narcissistic and very removed from the veganism talked about in this wonderful podcast. Veganism has also entered the world of transgenderism and the validation of child mutilation and going as far as promoting pornography for children as small as 3 yrs of age. I would have loved to have heard his views on this. Also on how it’s OK to kill Putin and continue to send weapons to Ukraine to ensure this war NEVER ends. I would also like to know whether he thinks that people should have had a choice putting experimental jabs into their bodies that have contributed to the mutilation of animals and human baby organ trafficking to then find out it was all a scam and they are literally killing millions, my father & best friend included. If anyone asked me my opinion I would have said that each of these subjects have nothing to do with veganism although being vegan would mean being against them all. YET the establishment has appropriated veganism in such a way that they have politicised it to promote all these harmful & evil ideologies. I would like to point out we haven’t really advanced as much as it seems. It’s a smoke screen. The establishment is pushing for less meat but it has nothing to do with animals, health or the environment. They are promoting the eating of insects so much so that they have already been introduced into our food chain without our consent. They are really against animal agriculture because it’s a sector that feeds the world. If they really cared about animals and humans Bill Gates wouldn’t be creating new injections to make the cows more productive and to bear the torture that is in store for them. The veganism talked about here is not the norm but the exception. I am disgusted with the whole movement and am ashamed to call myself a vegan. 🙏🏻❤️

I really loved this. Romantic, a little sexy and a lot warm family relationships. Son glad it was explicit as explicit books are really getting old. This was more wholesome.

Meryl Streep RUINED IT for me

I have tried to get into this book so many times that I've lost count. I don't know if it's a good book because I just could not get past Meryl Streep's whiny voice. She is an AWFUL narrator. Her whiny voice was so bad I just wanted to blow my own head off! In films she's OK I guess (depends on the movie), not as great as people say. But, as a narrator she is terrible and I wish I had read some of the reviews beforehand. I feel bad for the author because I just can't get through the book. Perhaps one day I'll get it on paper or on Kindle although the interest for it has now completely vanished.

Very funny!

I did again enjoy this 2nd instalment although the first one is my favourite so far. All the characters are likeable even those who at first seem to resist eventually grow on you. Again there were parts that had me laughing out loud literally and not just a quick ha ha, but a long, LMAO. I am intreagued to find out what will happen next but will wait a bit as I find them expensive for the length. They are very short and should perhaps be bit more economical. Again Hollie Jackson is amazing. Are you sure she's not secretly the author? I ask this because she does the personas so well. I don't think anyone else could do it any better. Good job on both counts, story and narration!

I really enjoyed this and didn't think I would. Sorry now I left it so long in my library without so much as a glance. It is expensive for the length but I enjoyed it so much I will be purchasing book 2. Had to pay attention as the story skips from real life to fiction in a heartbeat and I did get lost a couple of times but that's the beauty of the rewind.

It was hilarious, actually made me laugh out "very" loud when everyone was asleep and I just couldn't stop. So glad I gave this book a chance. The characters were well developed and very likeable, all of them. JUST TOO SHORT! Mini cliffhanger at the end, just enough to peek my interest and make sure I need to get 2nd instalment.

The narrator, Hollie Jackson was soooo goood I had to check whether she was the author. It felt like she new the characters so well and the story just flowed from her lips. Melanie James can be very satisfied because Hollie did an amazing job. Sadly many times a narrator can completely kill a book and other times no matter how good the narrator, the book just hasn't "got it". In this case, both the book and the narration complement eachother to perfection.

"How do you say HELLO?" - WOW!!!

Rory and Megan, Megan and Rory! Oh my!!! Once again, Sharon has captivated my heart with this pair of heroes; yes, both are heroes to me. I like Megan. She is simple, straightforward, and shy yet underneath she is the perfect match for this warrior. She is a survivor! I don't want to give anything way as usual, so you'll have to take my word for it and indulge in the deliciousness that is this wonderful love story. I will say it again; these bad boys are awesome guys! There is also a secondary character I fell in-love with, "Mr. Corrigan". He is weaved in and out of the story and, eventually becomes someone very important to our hero and he grew on me instantly. Once more, I found myself in the fascinating world of the “brotherhood” that are the SEALS and am in awe of the constant reminder of theirs and other military's sacrifices. Here we also reminded of who else sacrifices... the families!!! I know it is a Romance book to most but to me it is so much more, it's whole other world of blood, sweat and tears and an inner strength that I envy and so admire. I agree with Sharon in that she now writes with JD Hart's voice in mind because I really could not imagine anyone else acting out the scenes. Am I just used to hearing him? Well I thought I was, but BAM, BAM, BAM he surprises me again adding juice to an already ripe, more than ready exotic fruit! I cannot believe it is finished and have to wait for the next instalment. Sharon's books are an automatic download/purchase for me, which is how positive I am that I will enjoy the next adventure. Why don't you hop on, open your mind and enjoy the waves?

Ladies... this one is MINE!

I just downloaded SEAL My Home, so of course, I had to re-read A SEAL's Promise again first because I hadn't done my review & didn't want to forget how I felt. I know they are "Bad Boys" but they really aren't, they're lovely. I've yet to read a Sharon Hamilton book that doesn't touch me. I would dedicate this book to those times when you think life has just kicked you in the ovaries and you can't see the silver lining.... along comes a majestic warrior & saves the day! Tender, heart-felt, sexy and oh so endearing... those are the words I would use to describe TJ Talbot. I was completely taken in from the first few paragrahps. I love this hero, he's my cup of tea. As I go through Sharon's SEAL books I keep thinking "ooh maybe he's my favourite, but then there's...", yep, just can't make my mind up, but TJ, he may just be the one for me!!! At the end of each book I think "OK, there is no way she can top herself after that!" and then, SHE DOES. Again, the audiobook version is dramatised, yes dramatised, because you forget it's just one man narrating the whole thing! There is nothing missing in any of these books, they're 100% for me, then JD comes along and makes them 150%. It's too much sometimes for my fragile heart because I ALWAYS CRY. I've come to expect a high level of romance, action, fun and diversity from Sharon which is not fair because not everyone can write the next book as good as, or better than the last, but I DO EXPECT THAT from her because that's what I've received from every single book! This is no different, except that this SEAL might have been "imagined" just for me!

FANTASTIC!!!

OMG, Lori has so much class in her writing! This book had me mesmerised right from the beginning. Dare... what an amazing man. I think he's every woman's dream. This story is so well written that you become fully engaged to fantasise about its characters from the first couple of paragraphs. Action packed, suspenseful, heart-racingly sexy and just so blooming amazing. There are no flaws in the way Lori brings these characters to life, in the way she moulds them into people you wish you knew in real life because you actually fall in love with them. Hands down she is one of my most favourite authors now that I have found her. This book is a fantastic temptation to continue the series knowing full well that each book is going to be just as good if not better than the first. I should know I've read them all. Please don't give this one a miss. If you like well-structured stories with amazing alpha hunks and witty, quirky, intelligent women with an engaging foundation of mystery to solve, together with the anticipation of smexy love scenes, then this book is for you. You will laugh, you may cry, I did, you'll be thoroughly entertained and at the end you will be hungry for more.

If you are lucky enough to have the Audible version too I fully endorse it. Jim Frangione is off the charts and the perfect choice to pull it off to perfection. He brings out the strong brooding male persona whilst expertly delivering the female voices so you forget it's a male narrator! The humour, let’s not forget the humour. Lori has a great sense of humour and that comes out clearly in her books. Jim's bedroom voice most definitely won me over. Now I'm ready to listen to "Trace of Fever" again. I'm just as excited as I was the first time I read it. It’s a real gem! This story is about Molly, who is Natalie’s sister, whom we met in READY, SET, JETT and she and Jett make an appearance in this book. We finally find out what happened to Molly and… as you know, no spoilers from me but I will tell you that it’s awful and amazing and we get to meet DARE… ahhh, Dare, there are no words, only Lori’s to describe what a man he is, so I guess you really will have to read it if you don’t want to miss out on an amazing book. I love it!

Who knew dark could be so loveable!

This is getting even better!!! JOSH! I hated him in book one “Heavenly Lover”, I really did! He’s a despicable creature whose idea of fun is helping innocents throw away the greatest gift a human has, “life”! So, then, can someone please tell me how Sharon manages to turn my whole brain and heart around and get me to absolutely love this horrible, dark angel. Yes I do love him and feel sorry for him and have no idea what is wrong with me.

Sharon did it again and even better! She has followed up on ALL the characters which I love and managed to create some new ones whose butt I would kick for free. Her wonderful imagination has created a story you won’t forget easily because it’s captivating. I couldn’t stop reading/listening because I was so immersed in the plot. If you were having second thoughts about getting this book, don’t, you will thoroughly enjoy it to no end, really you will!

This one is much, much darker than book one with a lot more action which I love and when the bad guy becomes the hero IT’S JUST TOO MUCH!!! Even Audray manages to win a place in my heart and I disliked her almost as much as Josh in book one too!

We’re introduced to JONAS, oh my, oh my… are we in for a treat in book three. Yes I know I’m ahead of myself here but I just know! Expect hot, fan-yourself scene with this one, I just know it.

J. D. Hart did a fantastic job of the narration. He’s so good with the different voices and accents. If you’ve heard him you will know that he as a deep, manly voice, yet he’s so good with the female voices too! He doesn’t try the high pitches just the subtle intonations, the pauses, the feeling comes right through and you can visualise the women as if they were right in front of you.

This sequel is full of surprises, more twists and turns promising and delivering entertainment from the beginning to the end. Very passionate and hot scenes that Sharon depicts so vividly. Another job really well done!
