Loved it!

Anna wants only to be helpful with Elsa and to Arendelle, but since Elsa's coronation, Anna has felt a bit put on the back burner. It isn't until a strange mysterious sickness hits Arendelle and Elsa's grand tour is delayed that Anna feels it's the perfect opportunity to finally help.
But, while with good intentions, Anna spins a little magic of her own found from a secret room, she may just be setting loose something far more sinister than she realized.
I really enjoyed this book! I loved the characters and getting Anna's POV. I enjoyed how the story unfolded and how the ending sets you up for Frozen2 the movie.
I must admit, since watching Frozen2 in the theater twice & now reading this book & another Frozen book, I have hit nerd level, lol. Guess it's one of those feel-good stories and characters. And of course, Olaf's my favorite.
Great read.

Rumored to be a witch, only Nora Walker knows the truth. She and the Walker women before her have always shared a special connection with the woods. And it’s this special connection that leads Nora to Oliver Huntsman - the same boy who disappeared from the Camp for Wayward Boys weeks ago - and in the middle of the worst snowstorm in years. He should be dead, but here he is alive, and left in the woods with no memory of the time he’d been missing.

This is a beautiful yet haunting story. Although I somewhat suspected the outcome of these characters, it still kept me yearning for what was to come.
I loved the build up and the POV's of each character. I could picture the scenery from the descriptions and felt like I was in the book seeing it happening as the plot continued.
I really enjoyed Wicked Deep and I really enjoyed Winterwood. Shea Ernshaw has a beautiful talent and a way of capturing an audience. I really look forward to reading whatever she puts out in the future. She's become a top favorite author of mine.

A must read!
Revisado: 10-30-19
I really don't know where to start with this book. I don't think I remember reading a book from a ghost's POV before. If I have, I don't remember.
This book will definitely be remembered as it's one of those stories that you can't help but to continue to think about.
Timothy died on Halloween and has been trapped in his house for over 30 years with the demon that killed him, tormenting him.
As new residents move into his house, Timothy not only finds new hope of an escape, he finds that he may not be the only one being tortured.
This story kept me at the edge of my seat and I felt really sad for Timothy. Can you imagine being a ghost in the hands of a demon trapped for more years dead than alive?
The author did a great job bringing realism to the story and the characters. I felt for all of them, with the exception of the demon, no sympathy for that monster, lol. I also enjoyed the comedy throughout the book which brought light to Timothy's situation as well as the story.
I want to go a bit deeper into this review, but don't want to spoil anything.
I really enjoyed this book and the emotional feels it gave. Definitely recommend this book and I'll definitely be checking out this author's work as the writing style really hooks you in.

Interesting
Revisado: 07-19-19
I've had this on audible for a long while. I can't remember, but I think I had received this free from the author a long while back, but hadn't gotten to it until recently as I hadn't much been for audiobooks until this year.
Anyhow, this was a short listen or read if you own the book. I enjoyed the creepiness and mystery.
It's set back in the 1900's when a drought hit a dust town. Robert's brother Matthew who's seven goes missing and Robert is set out to find him. Problem is, things are turning strange in the town after a strange man, Abram appears in town. More kids start to go missing and the people seem not to remember things or be concerned like normal people would, including Robert's parents who seem to dismiss Matthew's disappearance.
While everyone seems hypnotized by Abram and the rain making machine, Robert keeps his wits and is determined to find out what's happening to the town and what happened to Matthew.
I found this book pretty interesting and felt drawn to the story. I was also happy with the ending.

Conclusion...
Revisado: 07-05-19
All the books leading up to the final battle in this book. I really enjoyed Jim Dale's narration throughout the series.
I don't think I'll ever get tired of this series. There's so much in them that it feels like a lifetime.
I'll be reading, listening to the books and watching the movies for years to come. I'll be the old crinkly lady with a tricked out rocking chair on my front porch and house full of Harry Potter things and wearing Harry Potter clothes, lol.
I think each time I revisit this series, I find things I've missed or forgotten, but always find home.
I always loved this series for its realness, it's friendships, its loyalties, its take on the world through magickal telling such as situations like pure bloods and differences. I won't go too deep, but you get my point. There's facing loss, conquering and facing fears, courage and standing up for others as well as what you believe in. It's also about not giving up.
These may just be books to some people and that's ok, but books can be powerful as words are and stories are and sometimes stories help us survive life.
I could go on, but I think many of us who love this series has a very special place in our hearts and the meanings it gives us.
Until next time... :-)

The journey continues...
Revisado: 06-30-19
The journey continues... These books hold dear to my heart as no doubt they do to many. It is through loss, our triumphs that we truly find our strengths and how to survive.
Again this book has tugged my heart and if you've read this series you know just how gripping this series is and if you've just started reading, no doubt you soon will know.
I love this series, for its greatness and magical beauty as well as its darkest of journeys as it can teach us all how to live, how to appreciate, compassion and how to survive our greatest demons...

On to the next book in the series.
Revisado: 06-26-19
Like I've mentioned with the other books, I always love revisiting Hogwarts and all the characters.
This book has always been the one that's gutted me towards the end, well, we all know which part I'm talking about. And if not, after reading or listening to this book, you will.
I've read the physical books plenty of times, but the audiobook is great when you are on the go as well as need to get chores done. Jim Dale is an excellent narrator and brings all the characters to life.
On to the next book in the series.
