Funny but i couldn’t

Overall, it’s not a bad waste of time, especially if you get it for free, however the moment where the hobgoblin who had never heard of earth references the orcs accent as British. That was it completely finished. Will not listen to another minute. A few other groups, but the linchpin is what it was important

Surprisingly great.

9 hours in and i can’t tell if the story has reached peak narration but everything is so felt. I get a little lost in the combat scenes and the lack of long winded character sheets in a god send compared to some other lit rpgs. If there’s a second book I’ll buy it! I’d like to give a 4.5 to the story, i don’t quite think it’s 5 star but probably a top 15 of all the books I’ve read/listened too this year.

I wanted to like this book, it's fallen in the same categories as so many other books I love but something about the charters just didn't work for me. felt like a slog only a few hours in and im the kind of person that can due a 36 hour book in 2 days. I hope that says something to perspective listeners

A great single book isaki return story

You don’t see to many books about returning from an isaki situation and it’s always a fresh breath of air about coming back and having a happy ending on earth. It doesn’t tie up every loose end but i think it’s for the best. Because real life doesn’t just end when the story is over.

Brain off

It’s a great brain turn off. I expected there to be more lewdness then the one vague sex scene that was narrated. Towards the end her repeated self reminders that she’s no longer a human and repeating the same line every time she thought that was annoying but maybe that’s just because I listened to the whole thing in less then 24 hours. I will say I’m eager to pick up the next one and dive into the magic

You either don't write a review or don't listen to the book. That is the only way to win. Am I apart of the unkempt masses for writing a 4 star review like he told me to? Maybe, but I still loved the dark humor very apt ranting and seeming chaoticness of it all(even if it was all his plan to begin with.) If you enjoyed the first one you'll love this one. You know you little black heart will.
P.S.Jeffrey deserves a bonus for the penguin bit.

if only it was longer

great story telling and acting. its almost believable and while the story was made for comics (which i have not read.) the narrator dose an amazing job of setting the stage.
