The book started very exciting but to me soon became very tedious and the characters and story line became a labor to read. I'm sure there many folks that will find this a great read. The idea of the book is great but to me it just couldn't back it up.

Good, old fashioned, fast actioned, book that starts right and ends right. Great descriptions that lets you be in all sections of the sub from the lookout decks, conning tower, to the racks of the lowest rated submariner. I recommend this book to all fans of WWII submarine novels

This book is outstanding . I read it and wish I had paid the extra ot listen. I've bought the second in the series and I paid the $7.00 for the audio. Don't pass up this story line.

Fair attempt at entertainment but not as exciting as the Dirk Pitt stories. Don't let me stop you from purchasing this book. Its entertainment but not as glamorous characters as older story lines and believability. If you buy it you will get your money's worth. It's a good back up read. This review is just my opinion.

Going to San Diego

Trouble follows Reacher no matter where he goes. Maybe for a cup of coffee or even in his sleep. He happens on to small northern town, on a whim, while setting out on a hitchhiking from Main to San Diego. The town has a history of a family of Reachers. He becomes interested and starts a simple search that embroiled him in a life and death situation. He becomes involved with both a local thug and a Boston crime syndicate . You will become fascinated in this book within first three page and will be spellbound to what the outcome of the final three chapters. Best story in last three books, do not miss it.

Rendezvous

Not 10 percent accurate
. spent 22years and retired from the military with 2 tours in Vietnam 1 year at Pham Rang and one year at pleiku. I tried to listen but couldn't finish. There is fiction, good fiction and bad fiction . This is bad fiction. Also the narratior sounded redicilous. I feel cheated. Glad l was cheated out much$$$

This book only held my interest at the end of the first chapter, when she left the shelter of the cave. I first thought that it was a chick book, then I became fascinated with her after the encounter with a crazed person who attempted to molest her. She then searched for answers as to what had caused total devastation to the area. Her being able to fend off a physical attempt to molest and enslave her was gripping. Then her encountering Benjamin and the hardships with starvation and attacks to kill or enslave them was nail biting, suspense. This is a must read book, as at the end, you must decide the end results of their struggles to survive .

Too many plots

Good book but not up to usual stories. There were too many characters that slows action. That F---ing Fowers will always be favored even Davenport.
