Historia
Sam and Clementine have a wonderful, albeit, busy life: they have two little girls, Sam has just started a new dream job, and Clementine, a cellist, is busy preparing for the audition of a lifetime. If there’s anything they can count on, it’s each other. Clementine and Erika are each other’s oldest friends. A single look between them can convey an entire conversation. But theirs is a complicated relationship, so when Erika mentions a last minute invitation to a barbecue with her neighbors, Tiffany and Vid, Clementine and Sam don’t hesitate.

a pretty mundane storyline
Revisado: 07-14-19
Very back and forth in time throughout the story- overall just life with an accident.

Historia
When Aurelie Harcourt's father dies in debtor's prison, he leaves her just two things: his wealthy family, whom she has never met, and his famous pen name, Nathaniel Droll. Her new family greets her with apathy and even resentment. Only the quiet houseguest, Silas Rotherham, welcomes her company. When Aurelie decides to complete her father's unfinished serial novel, she must keep her identity as Nathaniel Droll hidden while searching for the truth about her mother's disappearance - and perhaps even her father's death.

It took a long time getting into this book, but it had a satisfactory conclusion.

It seems like something is missing!
Revisado: 05-11-18
I was very excited to get my hands on book 4, but was sadly disappointed in it. I kept waiting for it to move past the introduction stage and for something to happen, or for there to be a rising climax in the story, but there was none. There was just a reintroduction of the characters and day- to-day living for them.

Historia
I won my first fight when I was 11 years old, and I've been throwing punches ever since. Fighting is the purest, truest, most elemental thing there is. Some people describe heaven as a sea of unending white, where choirs sing and loved ones await. But for me, heaven was something else. It sounded like the bell at the beginning of a round, and it tasted like adrenaline. For me, heaven was the octagon. Until I met Millie, and heaven became something different. I became something different.

phenomenal narration

The narration was excellent . I had higher hopes for the conclusion. It was good, but not one of her best.
