The Jersey accent was hard to get into but as the narrator blended the hard accent with an easier voice to listen to I really was able to enjoy the book. Loved the series and Embers familiar is my favorite thing now!

I really enjoyed the documentary type interview type portrayal of the story. It was heartbreaking. It was imaginative and just well written I was there for the ride and the ups and downs is sounded like a genuine experience with a genuine person at that time in their life and it was really beautifully done.

Different approach but great story

Didn’t really know how to feel about the interview style at first, but within the first couple of interviews, it was very riveting. I was like yes more! who is the next person and then the anticipation in the build up to one of the last few interviews and you’re just ….Really engaged with the process from a lot of different aspects and that was really cool. It was a really great way to read a book.

I didn’t know where this was going and actually loved the twist. Its my kinda thing so i was over here like "SERIUSLY THOUGH< SAME!! How....WTH....and HOW!!!!! but honestly great read. Just enjoyed the roller coaster. Boone thrown in for good measure, nice distraction of character...Not gunna lie, thought there was going to be a partner in crime secret exposed perspective as an EPILOGUE. Though i really enjoyed this book though took me a minute to connect the voice actor to the story because I couldn’t imagine Casey’s voice sounding like hers. But I acclimated eventually and just really liked the story. voice actor did great, voices and personality nd all, just did fit the main character in this particular circumstance for me.

There isn’t one bad thing I can say about this book. Loved every minute of it. Absolute Chefs Kiss!!! I’m addicted to this author.
And the voice of Eddie… I want to listen everything he narrates!

Unexpected hilariously, wholesome, sweet, engaging, thrilling, and intoxicating! Fell in love with all of the characters, the plot the descriptions, this was genuinely a wonderful book to indulging and listen to! I encourage anyone who even looks at this title to purchase this book and get lost in the fantasy in the world has been created.
