Historia
After her attempt to strike at the heart of Coruscant with a deadly virus, the sinister Ysanne Isard sets her sights on destabilizing the New Republic by seizing its medicinal bacta production. Under the guise of a mere power struggle between corporations on the planet Thyferra, the imperial mastermind has taken control of one of the galaxy's most precious resources. The heroes of Rogue Squadron are desperate to liberate the planet, and free prisoners trapped by Isard, only to find their plans foiled by the politics of the New Republic, which is set on assigning the squadron elsewhere.

Great
Revisado: 11-21-22
An epic conclusion to the Rogue Squadron quadrology. This story is one of settling scores, strife, and love. The characters have become more endearing than before and the antagonists deadlier.
I hope more unabridged audiobooks like this one are produced for various more sprawling stories from the EU.

Better than the last book
Revisado: 11-01-22
This one was about politics and a shadow war between spies as well as Corran Horn’s struggles. It was great and I really rooted for the characters especially Tycho Selchu. Time to check out the unabridged audiobook of the Bacta War next.

Historia
These stories will transport you to the heart-breaking internecine conflict known as the Horus Heresy. Each one of these audio dramas is a stirring tale of a long, vicious war that rages on into the 41st Millennium. Some of Black Library's best-known names have crafted thrilling, revealing and sometimes surprising audio dramas that shed more light on the galaxy spanning conflicts of the Horus Heresy.

This is a long but nice compilation of previously published Horus Heresy audio dramas.
My favorites are the ones about Eidolon and Malcador. The sound effects and cast are also good.

After years of waiting in the shadows, Darth Sidious is taking the first step in his master plan to bring the Republic to its knees. Key to his scheme are the Neimoidians of the Trade Federation. Then one of his Neimoidian contacts disappears, and Sidious does not need his Force-honed instincts to suspect betrayal. He orders his apprentice, Darth Maul, to hunt the traitor down.

Awesome
Revisado: 08-27-22
Sam Witwer himself narrates this amazing Maul story which serves as a direct prequel to Episode I and it was amazing especially him voicing the dreaded Sith Lords Maul and Sidious.
While his narration and performances are spot on including two characters I came to care a lot for, Lorn and I-5, I think he may have overdone it mixing character voices in the narration. But that also shows me how much of a Star Wars fan Sam is and how dedicated he is to bring this story to life with his performance.
The story is fun though there is a little plot armor lol. But it is riveting with Maul on the hunt. There is also foreshadowing of his upcoming defeat at Naboo…

The last entry of the Blackshields trilogy following Endryd Harr and his band of “pirates”. This audio drama can be listened to without listening to the previous two entries. However, gaining the full experience makes this last entry all the more potent considering the character arcs of Harr, Varn and others.
Harr is fascinating as he has killed individuals from both sides of the Heresy. And yet, he adapts to a changed galaxy and continues his quest to kill Horus. Naturally, the Riven Hound finds ideal targets of his wrath in Horus' sons.
Side note: the Sons of Horus can be very vindictive it seems...

Historia
For the handful of scattered Jedi, survival is imperative if the light side of the Force is to be protected and the galaxy somehow, someday reclaimed. Yet more important still is the well-being of the twin infants, Leia and Luke Skywalker, the children of Anakin and his doomed bride, Padme Amidala. Separated after Padme's death, they must be made safe at all costs, lest the hope they represent for the future be turned to horror by the new Sith regime, and the unspeakable power of the dark side.

Excellent
Revisado: 01-07-22
This audiobook serves as a great prequel to Episode III. The plot is engaging from start to finish and the voice acting and sound effects make you feel this is truly a Star Wars story.
The story is also tragic in a way as it gives a glimpse at how events could have played out differently while we the audience know full well how the prequel trilogy concludes and how it sets the stage for Luke Skywalker’s journey.

A moving end
Revisado: 11-11-21
ADB brings the tale of Talos and the 10th company to an end on the world of Tsagualsa. Once again, Andrew Wincott kills it with his voice acting performance as well as engaging narration.
The Epilogue suggests there may be a continuation to the story of the Night Lords in the 41st millennium which could go on into the 42nd millennium.
Kudos to ADB for crafting such a compelling and complex story of some hideous and sympathetic villains.

Revisado: 09-29-21
The adventure continues for Talos and co. In this story, we take a look at how the Night Lords make an unsavory deal with the Space Marine pirates known as the Red Corsairs. We also lose some of the main characters in an epic fleet battle near the end.
Once more, Andrew Wincott brings to life ADB’s vision for these horrible Chaos Marines.
