I first read the book and immediately fell in love. I laughed so much at Alexis’s internal monologue. It was fantastic. And really enjoyed the narrated version as well. The whole story is amazing to me. The ONLY huge drawback for me is that I have to wait till October of next year for the next book,🤣🤣🤣 But I’ll probably read it a few more times and listen to it a couple times too.

Wait…..Noooo!!

Ok so I’m being a wee bit dramatic but what in the hells was that cliffhanger!?!?!?!
I have to be honest,I kinda had a feeling about who “X” was but whoa….i need the next book last week🤣🤣 Great twist!!!
Me thinks Victor is going to become severely unhinged and I cannot wait.

Thoroughly loved

I absolute loved the twist and turns. I have a horrible memory if I had to take a break I would confused with names and who could do what but with the storytelling I quickly remembered. Which is much appreciated! Having read Elise and Valens story it was so neat to have them in these books. And I’m proud to say I guess what would happen in the epilogue 🤣🤣🤣 I cannot wait to read The Mist Thief! I love the world that has been built within these books. If you’ve read this but haven’t read the broken kingdoms stories,I highly recommend them. Terrific stories & world building.

Thank you booktok! I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The story was really good and I adored the characters. Though I will say I really don’t like D……..like at all. I have the second book pre ordered. He better come to heel. That’s all I’m gonna say about that lol

Love Duets(multiple narrators)

I prefer duets/multiple narrators for auditory listening and this one was fantastic. The story read well too. Although when you like dark romance,you tend to guess certain things that are about to happen. This was made me giggle(in a good way) & the spice was pretty decent too. All in all,worth the credit to add to my library.

Good story

I liked this storyline. It was heavy but not terribly graphic,I can handle it but it’s appreciated nonetheless. Definitely some tear jerker moments,mainly about the mom. And I think Cash is my favorite. All the guys had something about them but Cash had the best lines by far. Made me laugh out loud multiple times. Kinda felt like the end was a bit rushed? But that’s just me. Overall I enjoyed the story,narrators and spice of the book.💜

I had this in my kindle but when I heard it was here I listened to the sample and bought it with my one credit. If you’re new to spice I would suggest reading the triggers before dipping your toe into this one. I adore this author and this was a fantastic read. Sawyer cracked me up constantly and the accent(and speaking Italian) for Enzo was drool worthy. But I also really liked the story/plot. There were also some very sweet moments mixed in with the intensity. Bravo🤘
