Historia
What are you supposed to do when the whole world joins forces against you? Give up, find some hole to duck into, and beg for your life to be spared? But even despite how obvious the answer to that question might be, many an adult had been dashed on the rocks 12-year-old Tailyn Vlashich was supposed to climb. Ahead of him lay a secret laboratory belonging to the ancients; behind was a horde headed by his sworn enemy. But through it all, Tailyn had those who loved him, those who believed in him, and that support was enough to carry him to the ends of the Earth.

series started great but tapered off
Revisado: 07-17-22
I really enjoyed this series in the beginning. But by the last book the main character becomes superman in justice league. nobody could really do anything without him and everyone gets their butt kicked and screams for him and he comes out with some new op gear or spell and everyone fawns over him. his betrothed goes from being this badass young woman to literally getting yelled at by everybody for making a stupid mistake that I don't think she would have made in the first books and sent running with her tail between her legs. the mentors go from being wise and flawed but trying to having no real texture in the last book. I'd honestly say this last book would be suited for dnd main character horror stories on reddit. I'm honestly disappointed in the ending and it's sad because I really like this author but this series pulled a game of thrones style ending. what I'm most disappointed in is that Valia just gets shafted the entire time and gets no real character development. it becomes the Tailyn show and Valia just becomes a punching bag and the adults can't do anything for themselves anymore. oh and somehow in 5 books they are still 12.

fantastic series

I grew up in New England and having a series like this is amazing. The series is well written and a pleasure to listen to and the narrator did a fantastic job.

Historia
In The Land: Predators, the Mist Village has harnessed its power. With core buildings, professional fighters, and now their own dungeon, the settlement is primed to grow into a kingdom of true power and magic. The path to power has not been without risk, however. The MistVillage has been noticed. Evil nobles from the Kingdom of Law, bloodthirsty goblins from the Serrated Mountains, an undead lord with a penchant for human sacrifice, and fanatical kobolds from the Depths all plot the village's destruction.

there's nothing like this book out there. you get so caught up in listening and laugh at all the tucked in references that it's so much fun to listen to.

This series is fantastic
Revisado: 03-28-18
This whole series is fantastic, I could not stop listening to it. I stumbled appon the series when I was looking for other books the narrator had done. I highly enjoyed this book I like how the author laid out the mysteries and found the book as a whole unable to be paused for long at all.
