Historia
Dan Schawbel guides the next generation of leaders to create a workplace where teammates feel genuinely connected, engaged, and empowered to grow strong interpersonal skills rather than relying on technology. Based on Schawbel's exclusive research studies - featuring the perspectives of more than 2,000 managers and employees across different age groups and from the US, UK, China, India, Brazil, and other countries - Back to Human reveals why electronic and virtual communication, though useful, actually contributes to a stronger sense of isolation at work than ever before.

Management and culture 101

A wise but not very deep book, that doesn't do a very good job of addressing it's main thesis of getting work back to human.

Historia
From an early age, it is drilled into our heads: Restlessness, distraction, and ignorance are the enemies of success. We’re told that learning is all self-discipline, that we must confine ourselves to designated study areas, turn off the music, and maintain a strict ritual if we want to ace that test, memorize that presentation, or nail that piano recital. But what if almost everything we were told about learning is wrong?

Interesting but a bit of a chore.
Revisado: 09-26-17
Good information, wrapped in a quasi history of learning, which made it a chore.

Tribes are groups of people aligned around an idea, connected to a leader and to each other. Tribes make our world work, and always have. The new opportunity is that it's easier than ever to find, organize, and lead a tribe. The Web has enabled an explosion of all kinds of tribes - and created shortage of people to lead them. This is the growth industry of our time. Tribes will help you understand exactly what's at stake, and why YOU can and should lead a tribe of your own.

Motivational Book
Revisado: 08-22-17
What I thought I was going to get was more of a sociological view of tribes, what I got was more of a ra-ra lead your tribe book. I felt it was a bit on the abstract side, and could have used some more concrere info.
That said if you want a book that encourages you to stop playing it safer, and break out of your box, this might be the book for you. Overall a good concept.

Every year, six million companies and more than 100,000 products are launched. They all need an awesome name, but many (such as Xobni, Svbtle, and Doostang) look like the results of a drunken Scrabble game. In this entertaining and engaging book, ace naming consultant Alexandra Watkins explains how anyone - even noncreative types - can create memorable and buzz-worthy brand names. No degree in linguistics required.

Book could also be called One Woman's Opinion
Revisado: 07-21-17
Book entirely relied on the Author's opinion to make its case. So her rules often felt ambiguious and her examples contradictory. Despite that there is some wisdom sprinkled throughout, and felt her chapter on her brainstorming technique was very strong.
