Historia
A Praying Life is an honest look at the difficulties of prayer, unanswered prayers, and successes in prayer. Readers will appreciate Paul Miller's down-to-earth approach and practical nature. Parents will find his family-life experiences especially helpful.

Excellent

I listen to this repeatedly. I need regular reminders that God hears prayer. Paul Miller's detailed explanations about seeking God while the force of culture often successfully negates the activity of prayer is an encouragement to serious born-again Christians. This is a pretty extensive prayer manual that cannot be fully digested in one reading.

Historia
The Weight of Glory features nine memorable addresses C. S. Lewis delivered during World War II. Considered by many to be his most moving address, the title essay, "The Weight of Glory," extols a compassionate vision of Christianity and includes lucid and compelling discussions on forgiveness and faith. "On Forgiveness," "The Inner Ring," and the other much-quoted pieces display Lewis's breadth of learning and spiritual insight that have made him the most influential Christian of the twentieth century.

Beautifully challenging

Oh - to be this much of a seeker of God. C S Lewis rings out great depth of thought making the reader reckon with deficiencies in the use of his own brain.
