Great adaption.

I enjoy listening to adaptions of classic books in this theatrical style. This is certainly among the best I have listened to. If you aren't familiar with the book, this is a better adaption than a typical film.
If you enjoy this, I would suggest looking at other book adaptions from BBC and LATW.

Surprisingly not like the movie but great.

I am a fan of the movie so I decided to check this out. I like action, I like dystopian futures, so it was perfect for me. I finished it much more quickly than most audio books as well.
I suggest listening at 1.10 speed or slightly faster. The reader isn't bad, but a bit slow and monotone. Increasing the speed added a little energy and saved time.

Too short

Given how short it is and how fast it moves, it felt more like a summary of the book. Could have been much better if it were 30 or 60 minutes longer to cover more details in the book.
If you aren't familiar with the book or movie, I imagine this version can be confusing and may leave you asking questions. I would only suggest this for people who are already fans of Fight Club.

Pretty much what I expected. Liberal perspective on Vietnam. Basically gives a negative spin on everything the US did. Get The Politically Incorrect Guide To Vietnam instead.

Would you consider the audio edition of American Sniper to be better than the print version?
The audiobook is read by a guy with a Texas drawl and does a pretty good job with the voice acting. No way reading the print is this enjoyable.
Which scene was your favorite?
If you want to hear war stories comparable to Call of Duty, this book delivers. The action in this has the potential to be great scenes in movies and video games.
Any additional comments?
This book is just awesome and frankly its great to hear from someone that genuinely loves and fought for their country. This guy is a hero and his story should be heard.
