Historia
Few books have captivated the imagination and won the devotion and praise of readers and critics everywhere as has George R. R. Martin’s monumental epic cycle of high fantasy that began with A Game of Thrones. Now, in A Feast for Crows, Martin delivers the long-awaited fourth book of his landmark series, as a kingdom torn asunder finds itself at last on the brink of peace . . . only to be launched on an even more terrifying course of destruction.

Inconsistent narration, slow story
Revisado: 11-04-17
So far this book was the worst in the series. Slow and kind of pointless. I missed hearing from all my favorite characters. The narration was also terrible. The voices where not only different from the previous books but were also altered within this one book as well! Very disconcerting.

Historia
His name is etched on the door of his Manhattan office: LEONID McGILL , PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR. It's a name that takes a little explaining, but he's used to it. Ex-boxer, hard drinker, in a business that trades mostly in cash and favors: McGill's an old-school P.I. working a city that's gotten fancy all around him. Fancy or not, he has always managed to get by - keep a roof over the head of his wife and kids, and still manage a little fun on the side - mostly because he's never been above taking a shady job for a quick buck.

Worth it!
Revisado: 02-08-17
This book makes everything before it totally worth reading - even though Goodkind can be endlessly frustrating with constantly repeating himself over and over in his novels. His characters are intriguing and you can't help but care about what happens to them though, which I think it why his readers keep coming back to his world in each of his novels. I couldn't stop listening to this book once I started it.

I really enjoyed this third adventure in the Cormoran Strike series, even though some parts could be disturbing it was still gripping, funny, and just plain entertaining! At this point in the series I am invested with the 2 main characters and just hang on their every moment. Can't wait for book 4!

The rest of her working life is a stream of thankless cases, vicious pranks, and harassment. Antoinette is savagely tough, but she's getting close to the breaking point. Their new case looks like yet another by-the-numbers lovers' quarrel gone bad. Aislinn Murray is blond, pretty, groomed to a shine, and dead in her catalogue-perfect living room, next to a table set for a romantic dinner.

It was ok
Revisado: 12-21-16
I love Tana French and have read all of her books. This was my least favorite. I really disliked the main character and got weary of the character cliches throughout this book. She tries to keep the magic flowing in this like precious but it just felt ... stretched. Still a good read by most standards- just not Tana's best.

Chainfire took awhile to get to the point, but it was a good journey. I'm looking forward to the next book and hoping for more story and less reflecting on all the things that have happened in previous books. I would say my biggest gripe with Goodkind is his constant rehashing of old material, even events from the same book! I'd rather he incorporate these things we've already learned in previous books into the following stories. Like- where are all the Gars? however, I love this series and overall I'm inspired to be my best "me" when I read.
