This is one of the saddest books I have read

I could not finish this book, I was expecting a "beautiful" story of young love. It was NOT about love, in my opinion it did not even rise to the level of eroticism. It is sad to think that this generation of young people think that this kind of attraction is love, they will find out, as they really get to know each other, that it may actually be the opposite of love.
The book is the sad tale of a sexually aggressive (or as another reviewer characterized her "predatory") young woman who takes advantage of her work situation to satisfy her carnal (and possibly her work advancement) desires at the expense of the professional standing of the object of her desire.
Also, if you have ever had to pick up the workloads of others in offices where these affairs are going on you might not be so sympathetic with these "beautiful lovers".

Narrator speed reads this book

I believe I may have enjoyed this book if the narrator had not read it as if she was in a speed reading contest. I knew the narrator would have an English accent and I was prepared to deal with that but I simply could not deal with the speed with which she read. I am sorry if this review seems to disparage the author but I cannot recommend this book because it was narrated so fast that I could not comfortably listen to it.
