America and the planet need to hear the message of “ minimalism” more than ever! I have moved 5 times in the past 5 years due to work, each time downsizing and trying to practice minimalism & the effort continues!

Dr Perry & Oprah have written a book explaining what trauma does to a human being at the level any person with a high school education can understand. My wish is that this book will be read by all people in helping professions, teachers, educators and political leaders everywhere so that true healing can spread far and wide.

This book resonated with my values! I have often felt that I don’t belong in the US culture because I prefer “ Collectivism “ and think in terms of us instead of me. Reading about the Japanese seniors and their attitudes of having a purpose in life for the collective good was inspirational and gave me hope that is not lost in this greedy world .

Inspirational and beautiful Memoir

Being a RN in California and part of NNU has kept me active in the Medicare for All struggle for many years. Ady is the most inspirational warrior in this fight and I’m grateful he has shared his personal life story with the world to motivate us to continue fighting for a Single Payer Universal health system in America!
