A refreshing series
Revisado: 04-10-09
I loved this series. I was looking for something fun to listen to and this book made me laugh and was very hard to stop listening to. Even for someone like me that is into more serious vampire books, it was a refreshing and different view. A great listen.

Historia
Every now and then, right in the middle of an ordinary day, a woman rebels, kicks up her heels, and commits a small act of liberation. Imagine that the people in these wonderful stories - who do all of these things and more - are asking you, "What would you do, if nobody was looking?"

Different
Revisado: 04-10-09
I must admit that I could not finish listening to this book. I got about 2 hours into it and could not get into it. However the parts that I did listen to weren't to bad, a lot of it being relatable and true to life. Due to it being short stories, there is no continuity, so if you like that kind of style you should like this book.

Historia
Loreen Murphy hadn't meant to hire a male prostitute in Las Vegas. It was all just a big, stupid, expensive misunderstanding. Abbey Walsh never intended anyone to find out about the fact that she's being blackmailed. As a minister's wife, her sordid past was supposed to be a secret. Tiffany Vanderslice Dreyer never dreamed that she'd find herself up to her eyeballs in credit card debt from one mad moment of a shopping spree. She's an upstanding wife and mother with the perfect marriage...right?

Surprising

This book took a couple of chapters for me to get into, however once I was in, I was hooked. A great listen for anyone into the perils of loving expensive shoes, and having to deal with real life instead of live in a bubble.
