This Was Very Much Surprisingly Excellent
Revisado: 07-31-21
This is one of those series that you decide to give a listen to, but aren't sure just how good will be. Then the very first episode grabs hold of you and keeps hold of you all through every episode in the series.
This series keep you laughing, crying, cringing, smiling warmly, and so many other emotions that cover the whole gamut. It's a very pleasing story that is told in an interview narrative style that is very uniquely and finely crafted. I very much enjoyed the style in which it was brought to bear. There are many times when it was quite riveting and caused my pulse to pound. The story of this woman's life is brutal and demonstrates yet another example of just why women, or men, should leave a brutally abusive husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend. There are definitely times when a domestic situation that has gone bad can get out of control and law enforcement are the only ones to help resolve the problem that's all there is to it.
This book is excellent in its format and it fits perfectly with the other volumes that have the other episodes. I recommend buying the whole set so you may have all the episodes. Excellent set!

I Always LOVE Dean Koontz Novels
Revisado: 07-12-21
This is an epic and is as captivating as the best other DK novels that are his highest caliber work. The performance, story, and all is why I regard Koontz as my favorite author. This Nameless series is an instant classic. You'll love every word.

Historia
The boxes arrive mysteriously, one by one, at Channing Manheim’s fortified compound. The threat implicit in their bizarre, disturbing contents seems to escalate with each new delivery. Manheim’s security chief, ex-cop Ethan Truman, is used to looking beneath the surface of things. But until he entered the orbit of a Hollywood icon, he had no idea just how slippery reality could be. Now this good man is all that stands in the way of an insidious killer—and forces that eclipse the most fevered fantasies of a city where dreams and nightmares are the stuff of daily life.

ALWAYS Wonderful Storytelling With Koontz
Revisado: 07-05-21
I enjoyed this novel immensely and it is definitely one of the most unique in the Koontz Canon. The character development and lead-up to the conclusion will keep you listening until the very end. It is actually a magical story in some aspects with a mixture of the gritty characters that keep it real and keep it that much more interesting. You won't be disappointed in this one just as with all Koontz novels. I recommend it to anyone.

Historia
Jimmy Tock comes into the world on the very night his grandfather leaves it. As a violent storm rages outside the hospital, Rudy Tock spends long hours walking the corridors between the expectant fathers' waiting room and his dying father's bedside. It's a strange vigil made all the stranger when, at the very height of the storm's fury, Josef Tock suddenly sits up in bed and speaks coherently for the frist and last time since his stroke. What he says before he dies is that there will be five dark days in the life of his grandson.

Dean Koontz NEVER Fails To Amaze. LOVE This Novel!
Revisado: 05-04-21
As always, Dean Koontz made a masterpiece when he penned this novel. I had read this book years ago and just had to hear the audio book for it. It is even better in audio format. The narrator performance is EXCELLENT and the story kept me glued to my streaming device. Every aspect of the novel is of the very best quality. Koontz weaves a tale that you just can't leave until the conclusion. I'm so glad I decided to listen to the audio book for this novel. The suspense, characters, plot, and narrator voice characterizations all combine to make an irresistible listen. I recommend it to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

Historia
Matthew Worth is a mess. Somewhere between a good cop and a bad screwup, he botched a marriage and a career. His fellow officers think he’s a joke. His commanders are tired of cutting him breaks. Even his wife has left him for a flashy homicide detective. Busted to night patrol at a robbery-prone Omaha supermarket, Worth is doing time, wearing his uniform and asking shoppers if they want paper or plastic. If that isn’t enough, he suspects he might be falling for Gwen, the shy checkout girl who may be an even bigger mess than he is. It couldn’t get any worse. Until it does.

EXCELLENT Novel With Awesome Narrator Performance
Revisado: 04-26-21
Surprisingly excellent novel read by VERY good narrator. This story has that excellent twist and turn element that doesn't seem contrived at all, but keeps you listening and wondering just what is going to happen next. I absolutely loved it and I recommend it to anyone looking for a really good listen while stumped as to just what to pick out for that listen. You won't be disappointed.

LOVED The Novel, HATED the Ending
Revisado: 04-23-21
This is an EXCELLENT novel, including the narrator performance, but the ending was awful and made no sense. Why does such an awesome novel have to have such an awful ending? The story is unique and keeps you on the edge of your seat and I loved the characters. It is very well-written and the author obviously put a lot of thought and time into it, until the ending. I do recommend this novel to anyone who loves a good page-turner, but brace yourself for the conclusion. Some people may like this ending, but I sure didn't. So I definitely urge any of you to give it a listen and see what you think of it. Overall, you'll be glad you did.

Revisado: 04-16-21
So good to hear the continuing story of Win's life and his approach to getting just a bit older and wiser. The narrator performance is spectacular and riveting. I really do hope to see more of Win and also Myron in future novels. These characters have made such a great storyline. MORE!

Koontz STILL Has It! LOVE This Novel!
Revisado: 04-12-21
As usual, Dean Koontz weaves a tapestry of incredible elements that makes an epic story that you just can't stop taking in until it's done. The direction of this story makes you feel like it's going to go a certain direction only to race you off in another incredible direction that amazes. It's so unique and original with such profoundly colorful shades of surprisingly captivating conclusions. This one is NOT to be missed, especially if you are a Koontz fan. I sincerely hope that he's got more to come in the near future that are this good. I always thoroughly enjoy every tale he weaves. He just keeps the hits coming. I recommend this novel to anyone.
The performance by the narrator is very much top-notch. His voice characterizations are worthy of an A-Grade mention in any review of this audio novel. He really draws you into the story.
