Least favorite Louise Penny book

I struggled to finish. Too much emphasis on the Secretary of State. Some ways in which she was able to get information was over the top.
I love Louise Penny's books except this one. I kept hoping there would be some redeeming quality. Nope!

great performance. what made the book.

thought the first book's story line was a bit tighter, but this was still a fun listen. did not want it to end. after 2 books definitely felt connected to the characters. I will miss them. Narrator was fabulous to listen to.

was ok. wasn't really exciting or tense for me.

struggled but to finish as the story didn't really draw me in. even the battles were just ok. to get through I finally listened while shopping. if I was temporarily distracted, didn't seem to matter. still understood the story. the idea was relevant. but nothing particularly surprising. pretty much knew where the storyline was going.
