This was a pretty decent read. I loved Ursa from the very beginning. I knew there was more to this precious little girls story, but boy what a story it was! My heart ached for her!
The characters were good.
Gabe and Jo did the best they could under the circumstances, I suppose. Although I guess Jo could have tried harder. 🤷🏼♀️
And Gabe has depression... I didn’t really FEEL that. Only that one time when his sister wouldn’t let them see Gabe, saying he was “sick”. He didn’t really exhibit anything SHOWING that he had depression.
And I really wish there was MORE to the ending, that there was more to the ending of Jo and Gabe.
But other than that, it was a decent read.

They say you always want what you can't have. And what I want is Julia La Bella. I'm supposed to hate her with every fiber of my being, but I'll let you in on a little secret.... I don't. Not even close. The woman is stunning. She's also a colossal pain in my...you-know-what. Julia's my number-one competitor in the wine industry and she also happens to live next door. Not a good combination for a guy who's been told to "stay away from her" his whole life. Our parents can't stand each other: a bitter, outdated rivalry with no end in sight.

LOVED James and Julia!
Revisado: 06-22-19
Enemies to Livers is my FAVORITE troupe and J Sterling knocked it out the park with this one! This exactly why I love enemies to lovers so much. The hate chemistry is explosive and when that hate turns lust turns love, it’s all that much better! The hate/love creates a passion like no other, IMO. Makes it hotter, more intense and more enjoyable to read.
James and Julia could have been friends or even involved long ago but their families are nursing a rival so old that Julia isn’t so sure why their families are at war with each other, except for her families vines on the southern side of the vineyard. Those apparently make the best wine and their families have been fighting over it for decades.
James doesn’t want to fight with Julia, he just wants her. And he’s going to do what he can to make her see that the rivalry between their families has nothing to do with them and end the feud once an for all.
Loved every minute of it! The narrators were spot on too! Their voices really made Julia and James come to life! Love listening to them.

Tallulah Liddell had been defined by her appearance for as long as she could remember. Overweight and insecure, she preferred to fly under the radar, drawing as little attention to herself as possible, so no one can hurt her. The only boy who did seem to ever notice her was her longtime crush, Nash Lee. But when he laughs at a joke aimed at Tallulah the summer before their senior year, Tallulah’s love dissipates.

Great Friday Night Read!
Revisado: 09-01-18
I really enjoyed this story of being lost, finding ones self, friendship, love, loss, heartache... it deals with so many things and it’s brought together beautifully.
The writing is great, the narrators (I purchased the audio and listened) were really good at bringing the characters voices to life. They did a great job.
Tallulah was a great character, she is the epitome of what some girls go through in HS. Being overweight most of her life, she’s no stranger to the snickers, harsh words, ridicule, heartache, loneliness, and feeling worthless and unloved. But she has a great spirit and tries to not let that get her down. I hated when she would put herself down because she really had some great qualities about her.
Nash was your typical jock, but he was always nice to Tallulah when she was invisible to everyone else, and she had went to school with this kids practically her entire life. Until an accident changed him. Everyone noticed, even Tallulah. He has a hard time accepting his fate and isn’t ready to face a life without his one main love, football.
Lots of lessons to be learned in this book, and how these characters handled these lessons (albeit they didn’t do so good at first, it took time, as with a lot of people. But they got there!) was great to see. Although I do think Tallulah could have been more forceful and adamant in a certain situation, but I know until her senior year and her weight loss, she was practically a wallflower and didn’t really know how to react to certain situations, not that it was her fault mind you, it wasn’t.
The only things I can “complain” about is that
1) she keeps saying how fat she was. But after one summer she went back skinny. She couldn’t have been too overweight that she went back after 3 months real skinny. And definitely wouldn’t be that huge of a transformation that kids at school wouldn’t recognize her. But then again, she was always a wallflower, blending into the background, not wanting to be noticed so that probably had more to do with it that her transformation. Lol
2) I WANTED AN EPILOGUE! Or at least another chapter or two. It seems we are left hanging just a bit there at the end. Not to spoil too much, but I wonder if she went back (those who read it know what I mea lol) and how others treated her after the fact. Truly, I really wanted more of these characters and hope maybe one day the author will do a bonus epilogue down the round for these two.
All in all, I really enjoyed the story and how things went. A great Friday night read. (Ironically I finished this on a Friday lol). Makes me miss HS football nights when my girls were in band.

Historia
When my husband Oliver died, my life ended. My purpose, my passion, my everything bled out with him on the side of the Pacific Coast Highway. Ollie was an organ donor. His eyes, his brain, his lungs, his heart...parts of my Ollie went out and saved lives. Then his heart, beating in another man's chest, found its way back to me, and I found myself faced with an impossible choice: hold on to the pain and beauty of the past and the memory of the man I loved, or reach for a bold new future.

Pretty decent story
Revisado: 04-25-17
First off, I really enjoyed the narrators. I thought they brought forth the characters personalities really well. Really tapped into their emotions, the anger, the love, even the sadness. They did a great job!
The story itself, I debated on a 3.5 or 4 star but ended up going with 4 stars because the concept of the story was great. Very well written even. Loch and Niall Had instant chemistry right away and while I am not opposed to that at all, I would like to have a little bit more development with them than just the instant attraction, especially since Niall had just lost the love of her life only 6 months before meeting Loch. Ollie was her everything, and she gave into lust pretty quickly after meeting Loch. Although she did keep thinking of Ollie when she was with Loch, which is quite understandable.
Their attraction exploded into some pretty hot and steamy parts!
Loch being given a second chance at life had also given Niall a second chance at life, at love again. She has no one else since her husband died. Her family doesn't have anything to do with her, basically disowned her. And Loch had lived his life as if he were going to die, and he was. He never fell in love, never let anyone close, doing whatever he wanted, sailing around the world since he was a trust fund baby. Out living life to the fullest, so when his feelings for Niall changed and became too much, he didn't know how to react. He ran, which is what he seems good at. Until a disaster hit and him and Niall are out helping people. It hit hard for Niall since that is what she used to do with her deceased husband, Ollie. And it hit Loch because he realized his life up to that point had been selfish, and he didn't think he deserved Niall and the second change he had been given.
The story is a sad one, I couldn't imagine being in Nialls shoes. But it wasn't the heartbreaking tale I was expecting. It was still a good story though. Although, I really wish we had gotten more at the end. After being separated for almost 2 years, when they meet again, it seemed to be an instant 'I love you and I wanna be with you'. The end. Seemed a little rushed and I really, really, would have loved an epilogue to show how they overcame some of the issues between them and moved on to get their happily ever after.

"This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast."
This was my first Mary Elizabeth book and I have to say that it was just an ok book for me. I did love how dedicated and true to each other Lo & Posey were. He was poor and just just trying to survive, when a poor decision to steal a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter landed him in jail for two years. Posey, coming from privilege fell in love with the landscaper and even though he was sent to prison for awhile, he love never once wavered. She knew him deep down and her love for him carried him through his sentence until he could get out on parol.
Unfortunately being an ex-con, Lo found it hard to get a decent job and help get Posey though school. They lived in a crappy apartment and had to scrape by on what little bit of food they could get. Determined to give Posey a better life, he thought back to the guy he worked with in the laundry room in prison.
Rob a bank. It would be so easy he thought. That was until one heist went Terribly wrong and now him and Posey were living a life on the run.
I liked the story, but I would liked to have just a bit more of an ending. Lol!!
The narrator did a great job! I loved when he did different voices and accents for all the different people Lo & Posey met. I got the giggles when he did the woman That they net on the bus from alabamas voice.
All in all, it was a pretty decent audiobook and story.

loved this Story and the Narrator!
Revisado: 08-20-16
OMG! this was my first Alice Clayton book and I think I chose a great one to start with!
The Story was hot, sexy and hilarious! I found myself giggling one minute and fanning myself the next!
**"Top up or down?" I asked, my finger in the button.
He looked at me, turning the full force of his green eyes in me. "Top definitely down," he said as his eyes left mine, moving lower across my body, and then finally back up to mine.
I let my breath out in a slow whosh. D@mn. "Whatever you want, Hamilton" I said quietly.
My heart struggling to return to normal. This guy had yet to hug me, hold my hand, even touch me really. And with his eyes alone, he had my coming apart at the seams.
"Ill remember that, Grace," he smiled sexily.
Double d@mn.
The Narrator really brought Graces character to life, you can really 'see' her expressions and mannerisms through the narrators eyes. A great listening experience.
And Jack, oh my lawd, he was sexy and the perfect Book Boyfriend! Can't wait to get to the next book to continue their tryst!

Arizona Turner has been my best friend since fourth grade, even when we hated each other. We've been there for one another through first kisses and first times, and we've been each other's constant when good relationships turned bad. (We even went to colleges that were minutes away from each other.) Throughout the years, and despite what anyone says, we've never crossed the line. Never thought about it. Never wanted to...until one night changed everything. At least, it should've....

Good story and the narrators were perfect!
Revisado: 04-18-16
*Received a free copy of this Audiobook for review purposes for United Indie Book Blog*
Dear Reader/listener,
Since the main theme of the story is Carter and Arizona writing letter to each other, I thought I would put my review in letter form, just for kicks. :)
I have not listened to many audio books, I've just recently found a love for them. I like to plug my earphones in as I go for a walk around my neighborhood or walk on the treadmill. The treadmill at my local gym stops after an hour, which is all I usually do anyways. Well, the narrators of this book sucked me into the story so much, that I found myself starting the treadmill again just so I could keep listening!
This book was narrated by Joseph Discher and Jennifer O'Donnell.
They did a great job of narrators get the story and their voices paired really well together. Joseph made Carters voice sound so sexy, just like the words that were coming out of his mouth. And Jennifer did a great job of doing Arizona's voice, the sweet and sarcasm was perfect!
The story was great too, sexy, funny and little angst. Perfect for an enemies/friends to lovers. They started off hating each other back in 4th grade when they met. Arizona had braces and Carter always made fun of her, saying how much he hated her. His mother made him write an apology letter to her and her mom. That's what started the writing of letters.
Somehow, they evolved into being best friends. They were insuperable and always did things together. And they kept writing letter to each other, even after they got older and got cell phones. Their friendship was platonic, without either one ever wanting more.
Until, that changed one day when they were older, and they ended up having sex. They swore to each other that it would never change their friendship, that I was just a one time thing between best friends. Until, it did mean more.
--He pressed his fingers against my lips.
"I recently had sex with someone who might have ruined me for all others."
My eyes widened and my cheeks heated.
"Of course it never actually happened in her mind. But, I wouldn't be a good best friend if I lied and said the same."
He moved his finger away.
"For the record, it's going to take me a lot longer to forget."
This was a great story: sweet, funny, sexy and a little angst filled, it's sure to draw you into the story until you've listened to the very last chapter. The plot was great, the characters were very likable and the narrators really brought the story to life. If you're looking for a great audio book, give this one a try.
Sincerely,
Michelle (Reviewer)

Revisado: 04-18-16
**This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast.**
Hailey and Luke's story is one of my favorites by Tessa Marie. I was super excited to get the chance to review this on audio! To hear the narrator bring their story to life brought a smile to my face. I haven't listened to many audiobooks and am not familiar with all the narrators that are out there, but in my opinion, they did a perfect match for this story.
I think the narrator did an excellent job of portraying the sweetness and innocence that Hailey still possess. She may have gotten pregnant at 15, but she still those qualities and I really enjoyed listening to the narrator bring that forth.
She even did a nice job of Luke's character, bringing out the remorse he felt for all his past mistakes and with the genuine feelings he is trying to convey towards Hailey.
This story is a beautiful one of a teen mom struggling with all that is on her plate; school, friends, an after school job and a little one who depends on her...and a boy who is trying to overcome his past to be the boy who she can depend on. After being burned by her sons dad, she has to find it in herself to overcome those fears and let someone else in. And that trust is not easily given. Luckily for Hailey, Luke isn't going to give up so easily.

Absolutely loved this!!
Revisado: 01-28-16
After finishing Left Drowning, I immediately jumped into Restless waters. I had to have more!! ( which the narrator was awesome!)
Once again, Miss Parker has left me kinda speechless. I loved Left Drowning so much, and Restless Waters did not disappoint! I loved Chris and Blythes story, and I wanted so badly to hear more from the other characters!
Sabin was such a great character, a loyal friend to Blythe. He became her family. They had a bond unlike anything she shared with anyone, even her own brother. I love his story!
If you've read LD (which you totally should!) you know the Shepherds had a messed up life. Heartache and pain. While Chris tried to shelter his sister and brothers, but Sabin knew more about the what happened in the Shepherd household than Chris knew. This is his story.
A story of pain and self hatred. Of self destructing all while trying to convince everyone around him he is fine. But Blythe knows better. She knows Sabin better than anyone and she is determined to help another Shepherd. She's determined her love will get him through it like it did for his brother. She didn't know what secrets he held, what torment he put himself through and what guilt he carried over their troubled past. All she knew was her friend was self destruction and she feared that she might not be able to save him.
And when it all comes out, it could destroy them all.
Loved this book, every single thing! The intensity, the love between all the Shepherd and Blythe, the relationships with each other. It was another amazing story and I fell in love more with Sabin!

Sinfully Delish!!
Revisado: 12-13-15
What made the experience of listening to Sinful Desire the most enjoyable?
I really love the narrator's voice! It adds more steam to the already steamy book!
What did you like best about this story?
This is book 3 in the Sinful series and the story is getting more intense. We learn some secrets involving Nora and the murder of her husband. Ryan and Sofia's relationship is HOT and Steamy.
Any additional comments?
The only thing that I didn't like about the content of the book itself was the pool table scene but other than that, I really enjoyed learning more about the secret revolving the murder of their father and more of Ryan!
