HATED the Kindle and Finnagin storyline

Although very repetitive, I overall liked most of the storylines EXCEPT Kindle and Finnagin. Kindle was a selfish, entitled user! Ok you have kids but that does not mean that everybody has to take pity or be overly generous with you. Having kids was your choice. Nor should your neighbors have endure your loud and wild children, because you refuse to exercise some type of discipline to keep them quiet. He was WELL within his rights to complain on her and the noise her kid was making. This particular story completely disgusted me.

I liked the story and am half way through it, but the male narrator was awful!! I can’t imagine who thought his voice was sexy. His female voice interpretation was even worse than the male.🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

Mean!!

I am so disgusted with this book! It was mean, belittling and sad. Trevor, the main male character is a narcissist! He is constantly talking about how Zoe was not good enough for him and how she was not his usual type and letting a man he doesn’t even like call her fat bitches, etc. and the issue was actually that Trevor was extremely lacking in self confidence about his own “status”. He was so worried about how others viewed who he was with and what he had, that he was willing to push Zoe more into the ground knowing that she was already suffering deeply with self confidence issues!! He was threatened by his cousin Jason and took his issues out on Zoe. Trevor was selfish and thoughtless through out almost the entire book and it made me cringe. It is so sad that Zoe thought so little of herself the ENTIRE book! She gave him 4 babies and still never saw herself as good enough!! Seriously!!!! That is no easy feat! I know some of the issues are the way that some people actually think but it still was hard to digest that a man could be this awful to a woman who had been nothing but nice to him from the beginning. Also that she was willing to put up with it! They both are in need of some major therapy. EVERY woman is special in some way and ALWAYS deserves to be treated as such!

It’s an ok read, but characters are annoying!

I love the narrator but Luna is so annoying the main female character is so annoying!! She can never explain her feelings and spends most of her time spacing out about what she wants to say instead of saying it. It’s almost like she walks around with no plan or vision of how to put that in place!! She gets all upset about Bianca’s behavior but never puts her in her place!
Jake clearly loves Luna but is so controlling as if she is a piece of glass that will break! He takes the liberty of quitting her jobs, telling her what she can and cannot wear and hiring a bodyguard babysitter to keep her from leaving the house! I also didn’t really care for how the story ended either.

I really like the conspiracy theory behind this series. There are lots of twists and turns throughout the entire series! I am glad they main characters finally find their way back together.

Interesting narrator

I really like the overall story. I love stories with lots of drama, twists turns and surprises. The only part that continuously threw me was the voice of the male narrator. It sounded like voice that should have belonged to a much older character, not one as young a Derrick was supposed to be portrayed. He did a good reading but I found myself continuously thinking that every time I heard him speak, which was a lot.

Great Book!

This book grabbed my attention within the first chapter and held it through out. Once I started listening I couldn’t stop. I found characters really funny and sometimes relatable. I truly enjoyed this book and am anxiously anticipating the release of the second book. The voices of the narrators were also very pleasing! (Which can make or break these audiobooks!)
