Historia
“It happened fast. Thirty-two minutes for one world to die, another to be born". An epic and gripping tale of catastrophe and survival, The Passage is the story of Amy - abandoned by her mother at the age of six, pursued, and then imprisoned by the shadowy figures behind a government experiment of apocalyptic proportions. But Special Agent Brad Wolgast, the lawman sent to track her down, is disarmed by the curiously quiet girl and risks everything to save her. As the experiment goes nightmarishly wrong, Wolgast secures her escape - but he can’t stop society’s collapse.

Loved it
Revisado: 08-30-16
Engaging and read well. I usually am not the biggest fan of Scott Brick as a narrator, but this book was different for me.

Historia
A carnival rolls in sometime after the midnight hour on a chill Midwestern October eve, ushering in Halloween a week before its time. A calliope's shrill siren song beckons to all with a seductive promise of dreams and youth regained. In this season of dying, Cooger & Dark's Pandemonium Shadow Show has come to Green Town, Illinois, to destroy every life touched by its strange and sinister mystery.

Not a Multi-tasking book
Revisado: 08-20-16
I struggled to finish this book as I found my mind wandering often. This book requires a great deal of concentration, due to the heavy use of allegory and overly-descriptive language. Probably better as a sit-down and read book.

Historia
My name is Kvothe. You may have heard of me. So begins a tale told from his own point of view - a story unequaled in fantasy literature. Now in The Wise Man’s Fear, Day Two of The Kingkiller Chronicle, Kvothe takes his first steps on the path of the hero and learns how difficult life can be when a man becomes a legend in his own time.

The story needs more meat
Revisado: 08-08-16
The story is going a bit too slow. The narration is great, and the mix of accents is fun. I feel this portion of the story lacked a big climatic event.

Enteraining but a bit cheesy
Revisado: 07-21-16
The narrator needs to be listened at 1.25 speed or the story gets suffers. It was a good story, a bit cheesy in parts, but held my attention.
