Historia
When fifteen-year-old Eragon finds a polished blue stone in the forest, he thinks it is the lucky discovery of a poor farm boy. But when the stone brings a dragon hatchling, Eragon soon realizes he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself. Overnight his simple life is shattered, and, gifted with only an ancient sword, a loyal dragon, and sage advice from an old storyteller, Eragon is soon swept into a dangerous tapestry of magic, glory, and power. Now his choices could save—or destroy—the Empire.

An absolutely wonderful story.

what an absolutely lovely book. I do love westerns they are of more simpler times. the work and the hardship in these times were not easy by no means everything was done my your hand or not at all. most of the people we're kind-hearted but there was some who are greedy and wanted more not just more they wanted it all. when Shane arrives in a small town that is just starting with no sheriff, no law, and a cattle Baron on one side of the river and all the homesteaders who staked out their claims legally find themselves in a battle. Shane comes to work for a family, and learns to love all of them and returned they love him also. it never told his last name only Shane. a very good man trying to do what is right and the only way he knows how. I wish there was a second part to this book some of it reminded me of my own father he was a strong man just as portrayed in this book. my mother was an excellent cook which reminds me of the mother and the ever curious little boy. I rate this book among my most favorite of all time. Lady Jen
