Historia
Dulcie’s sharp tongue has got her into trouble many times and set her at odds even with her own sisters, but when she falls out with a neighbor, he challenges her to swap places with his ailing sister - she will go to Allamont Hall to recover in luxury, while Dulcie must manage the chores of a small cottage. As she learns to milk the goat and cook meat without burning it, she also learns a great deal about humility and honesty - and about love.

Awww Dulcie
Revisado: 05-04-24
I like the direction the author went with in this book. It seems like it would be a challenge to create a fresh engaging story with each new sister, but she does a fantastic job. Dulcie is so relatable. It’s beautiful to see how her character develops.

And how will Amy choose without her father to guide her?

Sweet Story
Revisado: 05-02-24
A friend recommended this series, and I’m so glad that she did. I thoroughly enjoyed the story. I am already on book four…she did an excellent job giving each sister a unique personality. Amy’s story is sweet and rugs at your heart as she figures out how to navigate love and sisterly relationships.

Not really a cat person
Revisado: 05-02-24
OK, I am not really a cat person but I loved this story. This guy wrote an amazing book. It is silly and creative and heartwarming. Will Wheaton has a fantastic voice, which makes it super easy to listen to.

Historia
What if Mary Bennet’s life took a different path from that laid out for her in Pride and Prejudice? What if the frustrated intellectual of the Bennet family, the marginalized middle daughter, the plain girl who takes refuge in her books, eventually found the fulfillment enjoyed by her prettier, more confident sisters? This is the plot of The Other Bennet Sister, a debut novel with exactly the affection and authority to satisfy Austen fans.

An engaging story
Revisado: 07-15-22
This story is truly moving. You want to hear so badly that Mary receives the love she didn’t receive growing up. Taking this journey with her was a unexpected treasure. Love that they reference one of Austin’s favorite authors too!
