An incredible follow-up to An Absolutely Remarkable Thing that manages to capture the most engaging, frustrating, and thought provoking aspects of that work while also pushing the social commentary much further. I have so much to think about after reading the book.

The narration is also stunning. The cast adds so much depth to the book and the audio quality and editing is fantastic. Definitely a book to listen to.

Incredible narrator and a critical story about sexism and racism in tech and startup culture. The way this story covers so many aspects like the Pipeline problem excuse, the way uneven distribution of childcare duties plays out, power dynamics, sexual harassment, double standards, online harassment, mansplaining, nice guys in tech, calling women who disagree with you crazy, etc so effortlessly and complexly is incredible.

I cannot recommend this enough. Stephen's agony in The Final Problem as Watson tells us what happened, his portrayal of the eery mood of The Hound of the Baskervilles, or the fear in His Last Bow, brings the story to life in a way all other medium have failed so far. His commentary before each section provided interesting insights that even more seasoned Holmes fans may find new.

I couldn't get through a whole review without saying that this read through has convinced me more than ever that Arthur Conan Doyle wrote Holmes and Watson as queer, but couldn't be explicit about it due to the intolerance of the time period. All the signs are there.
