Historia
What is a starf*cker? However you define it, Matthew Rettenmund, author of the acclaimed novel Boy Culture and the popular blog BoyCulture.com, readily admits to being one. The ultimate pop-culture enthusiast, he has been obsessed with celebrities ever since he was born. This hilarious, sexy memoir (arranged by memes) documents Rettenmund's affection - in the case of Madonna, it's pure mania - for movie, television, and music personalities.

Historia
Nate has been in love with Quinn, his brother's best friend, for as long as he can remember. Quinn doesn't believe in miracles, especially not Christmas ones. When he decides to win Nate back he knows it won't be easy. The last thing he expects is a health scare, a road trip and a vicious snow storm to work in his favor. In the end, a cabin in the woods turns out to be not only the shelter they desperately need, but also Quinn's very own Christmas miracle.

Stupid story
Revisado: 12-28-17
The central element of the story - what kept these two apart for so long - is stupid. It makes no sense at all. If that had been thought through and a more reasonable explanation provided perhaps I would not have viewed the rest of the story through a lens of 'Are you kidding?'
The narration was confusing because all characters sounded the same.

Their destitution is a sad, ugly part of reality in a city where people win or lose it all at the tables every single day. So he's at a loss to explain why the homeless man in the suit catches his eye. Why he can't just keep on walking like he always does.

Ok MM romance
Revisado: 12-27-17
A pretty well-written, though predictable, romance. Skip the trite epilogue if the inevitable HEA romance trope makes your teeth ache.

Ruined by narration
Revisado: 12-26-17
While nowhere near her best work, this story might have been OK but it was ruined by terrible narration. Actually it doesn't qualify as narration but rather a reading that lacked fluency, tone, mispronounced countless words and didn't even attempt characterisation

Terrible narration
Revisado: 12-25-17
Sadly this book was diminished by the narration which, strangely, was fine apart from the dialogue which was delivered in a robotic fashion. There was also no differentiation between character which was confusing. The story itself was good until the last few chapters which were unsatisfying in terms of resolving the events and emotions etc.

Declan Shaw solves problems at his family's many business enterprises. Recently, he's considered ceasing his travels to pursue a few desires of his own. He'd love to explore his secret love of cooking and perhaps have a relationship with a man that lasts longer than a night.

Unmet potential
Revisado: 12-24-17
This story has potential to be interesting because of the plot & characters aside from the romance. Unfortunately the romance itself was predictable and boring.
The narration is pretty good. It's rare that an American narrator can get so close to getting British accents right.
If this were my first book from these authors there wouldn't be a second.

Historia
Marty Bell knows what it's like to be bullied. He was the shy, overweight kid at school, and those memories have helped turn him into an excellent teacher - though he's never spread his wings beyond the remote northern village where he grew up. The last thing he needs in his life is the reappearance of Devlin Surtees, leader of the gang who made his schooldays so tough. Dev is the glamorous village hero now, flying acrobatics planes and fighter jets for the RAF. He’s just as spellbinding, handsome and infuriating as Marty recalls.

This story had potential. However, it
Sometimes it was unclear, in audio format, if the characters were thinking to themselves or actually speaking dialogue. If they were actually speaking or was beyond trite. Then it sometimes became clear that this was dialogue.

Historia
Combining glittering wit, an atmosphere dense in social paranoia, and a breathtaking elegance and precision of language, White's first novel suggests a hilarious apotheosis of the comedy of manners. For, on the privileged island community where Forgetting Elena takes place, manners are everything. Or so it seems to White's excruciatingly self-conscious young narrator who desperately wants to be accepted in this world where everything from one's bathroom habits to the composition of "spontaneous" poetry is subject to rigid conventions.

Historia
Everyone knows that Tony Landon's dated dozens of different men and women since he joined the athletics department at the Falconer Institute of Training. Everyone who's ever gossiped with one of his exes knows that he's kinky, too. Donovan's reputation at the institute is different. The only reason people are pretty sure he's gay is because he drinks at the same pub as most of the gay and bi Falconer guys, and he's never actually said he's straight when he's brushed them all off.

Quite good but only half a book
Revisado: 12-17-17
This would be a really good book, though it is not substantial enough to be a standalone volume, if it weren't for so very many sex scenes. They become boring and don't advance the story. Moreover, they are simply unbelievable. These two are apparently so overcome by lust that no matter the situation or the concerns they have sex, and consequently things go awry. It strains disbelief suspension and damages the story.
