Poor delivery, mispronouncations, and incessant mouse clicking in the background. I'm surprised that it was even released like this.

The author does a good job of explaining how Hitler's childhood and artistic aspirations contributed to to his character, personality, and the crimes he eventually committed against his country and humanity. Unfortunately, the author is a much better writer than narrator. It was tough to finish the book due to her annoying, unnecessarily dramatic inflection throughout the entire book.

Eight hours of excuses from the biggest "victim" of the whole fiasco. Several parts of the story are so absurd it's laughable. The narration sucks, too. Guy can't even tell his own story.

This is a great book for a NASCAR or auto racing fan, but you must really be a BIG fan in order to tolerate the narration for the duration of the book. Sounds like a computer generated female voice, but worse. If you happen to be driving while listening to this book, you could easily mistake it for your navigation system and wind up completely lost.

Would you consider the audio edition of Cullotta to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version

Any additional comments?

The narrator does a good job when speaking in his own voice, but when he tries to impersonate the various mob characters it gets pretty silly. He makes Tony "The Ant" Spilotro sound like a cartoon character. I almost stopped the program the first time I heard him do it. If the content hadn't been so good I might have returned it for a refund.
