Favorite Audible book ever
Revisado: 01-03-21
If I had one book to keep forever and re-read, this would be it. Lovable, relatable characters, dialogue that snaps with humor and insight, multiple plot twists that keep you guessing, and a completely unexpected ending. but best of all, I loved the benign view of the world this portrayed. if a murder mystery can be considered comforting, this is the world I want to retreat to whenever life feels too stressful. simply beautiful from start to finish.

Attempting to recover from his harrowing experiences in Mexico, in Land of Wolves Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire is neck deep in the investigation of what could or could not be the suicidal hanging of a shepherd. The band is getting back together
Revisado: 09-23-19
Thank you Mr Johnson for returning us to Wyoming and the company of Henry Standing Bear, Vic, Sancho and Lucian. The last book (the Depth of Winter) was just too dark for me. Walt's struggle in the aftermath of Mexico is believable, but the author still manages to inject the humor, personal insights and comradery that I have come to expect in his mysteries. Gotta say, it left me loving Walt more than ever.

Historia
Emily knew there would be strings attached when she relocated to the small town of Willow Creek, Maryland, for the summer to help her sister recover from an accident, but who could anticipate getting roped into volunteering for the local Renaissance Faire alongside her teenaged niece? Or that the irritating and inscrutable schoolteacher in charge of the volunteers would be so annoying that she finds it impossible to stop thinking about him?

Steer me to the closest Ren Faire!
Revisado: 09-23-19
I enjoyed this book far more than I expected to. Not usually a romance fan, I loved the Renaisance Faire details and the snarky dialogue. The characters were likable and intelligent. In all, a very entertaining book and surprisingly well written.

Not up to her usual caliber
Revisado: 08-27-18
I usually love Molly Harper, but this story just feels flat. There is none of the witty repartee and snarky asides that make Harper's books so entertaining. I quit listening before I was halfway done because, frankly, I got bored.

Any additional comments?
Why in the world would you change narrators after so many successful books with George Guidall? I just couldn't enjoy this book without the quintessential voice of James Qwilleran.
