"wet" narration.
Revisado: 03-29-25
Narrator was constantly swallowing loudly, pausing to swallow loudly, seemed to have way too much saliva when speaking. Really detracted from the immersion and storytelling.

Historia
The essence of a truly null-Earth logic may never be as clearly defined as in this novel-length package of interplanetary surprises. Ride The Wormway To No-Wonderland. Consider this marooned astronaut. His spaceship and supplies are swallowed in one gulp by something from beneath the featureless plain of an unknown world.

The PCS Blue Cherry Blossom, a long range interstellar freighter, is tasked with the ultimate voyage. What lies at the heart of the galaxy? Who and what is out there? Is it even possible to survive? sooo boring.
Revisado: 03-05-25
tedious boring exposition about the characters, AI, spaceships, history, etc. even the contact with the aliens were boring. this is where I stopped reading. I couldn't even focus on the first contact message without my mind wandering it was so pointless. characters personalities and motivations were also written in a wooden, as such they were unbelievable. ugh.

Historia
As a free A.I., Mal finds the war between the modded and augmented Federals and the puritanical Humanists about as interesting as a battle between rival anthills. He’s not above scouting the battlefield for salvage, though, and when the Humanists abruptly cut off access to infospace he finds himself trapped in the body of a cyborg mercenary, and responsible for the safety of the modded girl she died protecting.

poor writing
Revisado: 03-01-25
cons: uses way overused phrases and tropes. characters are stereotypes are one dimensional. overall premise has been done to death and done way better by other authors. finally quit about half way through because I was getting madder and madder at how bad this was.

Not overly original, but a fun romp.
Revisado: 02-28-25
cons: overly simplistic, very predictable, unoriginal concept, geared towards gun nuts who love lone descriptions of different types of weapons, way too much emphasis on weapons especially because WEAPONS WERE INEFFECTIVE AGAINST VAMPIRES AND OLD ONES.
pros: easy to read, humorous moments, action drove the story forward.
