Don't expect this to be a regularly formatted novel. It's more like listening to a tv show. If you can get your head wrapped around that then you'll love this.

Enjoyable if not with some caveat
Revisado: 05-03-21
The performances was top notch and overall an entertaining story. For what it was it's good. The writing could have been better. Some problems were resolved a little too easy with no consequences. I remember a car being sold for bitcoin to be bought back the next day yet that never was resolved. There's a couple things like that but I enjoyed it.

Historia
Deep down here by the dark water lived old Gollum, a small slimy creature. I don’t know where he came from, nor who or what he was. He was Gollum—as dark as darkness, except for two big round pale eyes in his thin face. He had a little boat, and he rowed about quite quietly on the lake; for lake it was, wide and deep and deadly cold.

It's pretty obvious by the reviews and I only have one question. When will Andy read the LOTR books? I'm ready and would buy them at once.

Historia
Civil war looms in the Bobiverse in this brand-new, epic-length adventure by Audible number one best seller Dennis E. Taylor. More than a hundred years ago, Bender set out for the stars and was never heard from again. There has been no trace of him despite numerous searches by his clone-mates. Now Bob is determined to organize an expedition to learn Bender’s fate - whatever the cost. But nothing is ever simple in the Bobiverse. Bob’s descendants are out to the 24th generation now, and replicative drift has produced individuals who can barely be considered Bobs anymore.

A worthy addition to the series
Revisado: 10-07-20
I think I'd call Heaven's River not so much a continuation of the first three books but the beginning of a new thread with the same characters delving deeper into the world. I'd prefer to think of the first three books of Bobiverse as a complete trilogy and book 4 to be more a side quest. I enjoyed it and feel it was top notch.

For maverick LAPD homicide detective Harry Bosch, the body in the drainpipe at Mulholland Dam is more than another anonymous statistic. What can you say? It's Michael Connelly and Titus. I wish Titus would narrate the entire series. It's always better to have one quality narrator read all the books rather than having to shift voices.

Ghost Station pulls you in from the beginning
Revisado: 11-08-19
I've only started it but so far I'm enjoying the book. From the start, it leads us into a series of mysteries and creates suspense. If you like espionage you'll like this. Dan as usual creates unique characters that you connect with.
Jonathan Davis does a great job creating unique voices that are memorable and I like the tone he takes. The style of the story makes you feel like you're listening in over their shoulders.
I'll update as I finish. So far, I say get it and give it a try.
Ok, I'm back. Ghost Station doesn't disappoint. From beginning to end you're taken through the ever guessing world of spies and lies. Cryptography does take the driver seat but it's not so much that it's hard to follow. I'm not a cryptologist but it felt authentic and genuine into giving us an inside view into the mind of one.
It keeps you guessing the whole way through and you may think you've got it figured out to only be shown that you were wrong. The ending will not disappoint. I still say get it if you even remotely like spy stories. This is a great action thriller spy novel that is worthy to be in your library. Get it!

Historia
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Revisado: 02-14-17
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
The only thing I can add is it's a light hearted adventure and as long as you don't take yourself too seriously you'll enjoy this story. Read the reviews and know that they aren't fake.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Skippy...Of course. Dumb dumb
Which scene was your favorite?
Most of the scene's between Skippy and bacteria.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yep

Split decision
Revisado: 10-07-16
This was a terrible idea for a story that was masterfully written. The only problem with this entire book is the base idea. Oddly, that isn't very hard to get past. In addition, Sanderson is a master of characters and it that shows in this novel.
If you have read and likes his other works you will like this one too.
